People should be cautious about freely harvesting freshwater mussels in Australia. Unfortunately they are extremely sensitive to water quality and pollution. they have seen a huge decline since the European colonisation of Australia, and the changes in water quality and regime. They are a great food, but we should keep in mind that most fresh water bivalves are threatened in Aus. But great video, definitely a good survival food.
Loved you for setting it free as opposed to killing it like so many others would have done. They would have then wooped it up for feeling awesomely for doing so too!
Sssssir you need new tyres and I'm not taking "No" for an answer. Look at the treadwear, can't cheap out on Sssafety Sssir. As an outstanding member of the AAA and the Tyres and Rim Association of Australia I can't let you drive this car.
1:24 "made a little incision" how do you know that? 1:34 "cut a big gouge" how do you know that? "Could of harmed tree" 1:42 tree has 2 ft x 7" of bark missing must of been the horrible white pioneers. 2:28 2 ft x 7" of bark removed from tree by black man but that wont hurt the tree will it? Pity the kids having to listen to your woke BS
If you wait then gather the whole stem when the berries turn orange they spit open naturally then you lightly blow the husk off and you can grind up the seed, who picks them green?
I have my matt rush growing next to a cement path, and this year the seeds covered the cement. I have swept up half a cup of them. I think I will grind them and put them in with bread next time I make it. A couple of years ago I picked the heads and put them in a paper bag, thinking the seeds would fall out but only a few did. I will experiment next by putting a bag of seed heads in the sun in the hope they open up and the seeds fall out.

You are throwing your black boomerangs to layed over for the ammount of wind, if you try more straight along rather than up and held more vertical you will find the flight path in these conditions will be closer to the ground and more circular than U shaped. If they are landing to the left and behind like in this video, aim further to the right with less force. Believe me, I've been catching boomerangs and throwing them since I was seven.
