Hey I have a sundown audio Amp that needs One of those things that you're adding to that album, but I don't know how to get 1. Can you help me out?sfb 3000 sundown audio
Jessie, can I switch out an Infinity Polycell tweeter for an EMIT tweeter? Though the former is round, and the latter a rectangle, it looks like the EMIT tweeter is wide enough to cover the round hole >>>>> am I right? I don't want to have to mess with the crossover unit. I'm hoping for a simple 4 screw switch. Thanx
Nice, I have the same amp. Just cleaned it couple days ago. We have a dog and two cats, so I have to clean my gear pretty regularly. Love the amp, clean sound, massive power.
I have a problem when turning it on. The amplifier works, but I can only turn it off by removing the electrical current. However, when I remove the connection between the large and small boards, the amplifier on and off button works normally. Please Help
are the 4115 you replaced the correct Fets on the outputs? are they not getting hot without load? because i did not see in your video, checking the temperature of the output FETS.
I have a memphis pr600 old school amp that i bought from yard sale. I bench tested it but have no power light or no protection light. Fuses all good. Doesnt even spark when power is touched. Any idea where to start on it?
I need the adjustment knobs settings repaired. When I go to move them around they cut out and when I do get them to work they send static sound out . Idn what to do but I love this amp how do I go about getting it fixed
I mostly use crown audio. however I would like to test out the crv amplfiers. IF your running them in outside you can use taramps amps off car batteries and a car running can charge the bank with jumper cables.
Do you know the power draw from the unit on full amplification? I'm comparing to built in amps for a subwoofer for power draw vs power output. Is there an amp you reccomend for low power use and high quality sound/power output? Thanks for the vids and keep rocking.
They are pretty quiet but not silent. I run 2 bridged and 1 in stereo. Mains are bridged, subs are stereo. You don't really notice them at all once they are on. I used to have a QSC 1700 and that sounded like a vacuum was always running. 😢 good amp though.
If I'm not mistaken the fan varies speed with temperature so I cannot play in the amplifier hard it doesn't pick up. Would not be suitable for a recording studio and possibly a quiet home theater system it might be a problem with noise
I have a sundown sfb 1000d ,the Protect light stays on and power light comes on and off, what do you think is the issue and which transistors should I replace and where can I purchase them ,I would really appreciate the information ,thank you...
Can you please tell Me what output transistors are used in this amp? They are just labeled B1 I have 2 amps with the same issue. I removed the good transistors from 1 to fix the other.
Wow nice job again sir what took you so long to be on RU-vid great to see more and more people doing these types of work not many of us are around keep up the good work sir nuff respect 👍 👍 🙏 🙏
So, I just add a spot of paste on the back of each transistor tab. About the size of a grain of rice. I do this for a few reasons. First, the paste was designed as a glaze that just fills in minor imperfections in the mating surfaces. It's not suppose to be a transfer buffer for the entire surface. That will actually impact thermal coupling in a negative way. A small amount will do as it will spread hydraulically once clamped. Speaking of that, if you add too much the clamp pressure will loosen as it spreads hydraulically over time. Third, It's an unnecessary waste of product. Fourth, the next tech that has to open that amp won't be mother f**king you for the mess...
