I’m mexican indigenous and I already have hooded eyelids that makes it look like I have monolids, ima still do this tho. Hopefully I can enhance my eyelids more.
I actually have the same problem and my eyes were always “asymmetrical”. It made me really insecure and look bad in pictures and overall, in real life. Im really glad i came across this video, knowing someone has the same experience as me and im not alone! Thus, this is really helpful. Thank you! 😅
It works! If I keep doing this, will I get double to monolid eyes permanetly over time? I'm asian but with double eyelids and makes me uncomfortable with it.
Are there people who want monolids? I have monolids, but I really want double eyelids because I think they're prettier. But are there people who actually like monolids better? And why? I tried to accept my monolids, byt I still don't see any merit to them.
No off course not, most people who want monolids are those people who's eyes are asymmetrical (Or in my case I only focus on my one eye while seeing causing me eye problems so this is to help with that) but there are many Anime or K-pop and K-drama lovers as well here just trying to look achieve a mongoloid look

Idk what its called, but half of my eye is mono-lid and the other half is hooded 😶 My hooded side of my eyes usually rub or steal my makeup and hide it in the stupid crevas and its so annoying, like why dont you match 🤣
Thanks for this video! I am Japanese mixed with hooded lids and I also have a little problem with asymmetry in that area. I tried eye lid tape to make them look more similar, but it's too much work for me because I get all OCD about it so I can easily take like 30+ minutes just to do that. I'm excited to try this!
I was born with monolids, over time your eyelids can change and by the time I was 8 my eyes changed to triple eyelids and you see it in photos so sometimes people see my baby photo then toddler/little kid (for a project I had to show photo of my origin(??) and ppl question it a lot) and it felt awkward because now people say im not asian but im like "???" And its very awkward
U are probably trying to look Asian. Be comfortable with who you are. I’m East Asian with Monolids, I’m happy with who I am you don’t gotta look East Asian or fetishize those features.

I actually wanted a Mono eye is because I’m not really Asian only like 20% and I don’t want people calling me a foreign when I go back home to Korea. Thank you so much! This is way better then one of those cheap Asian makeup tricks!
I was born with 2 monolids. Unfortunately, around middle school my right eyes crease began to differ compared to my monolid, and it created a double eyelid. A while ago, my right eyelid surprisingly turned back into a monolid after around 3 years of my eyelid swapping between double and triple. It stayed as a monolid for 3 days, and one day I woke up and it became a triple eyelid again. When I blink harshly, it turns into a monolid for around 4-10 seconds, it depends on how much I blink and how much force I put on my right eye to blink. Do you think I can still get a monolid? I fear that after those various years, my eyelid became more stretched out making it more difficult for it to become hooded again.

I have one monolid and one weak double eyelid. It’s because when I was younger I wanted to learn how to only raise one eyebrow and now I have eyelid asymmetry! 😢
