At 7:30 I wish they had just continued the Latin dialogue with translated subtext for the last couple lines, instead of randomly switching to English part way thru. They already put in the effort to use the authentic language of the setting, why not complete it? The player can still understand everything by reading the text. And then in the next scene they couldve had the phantom voices calling to him be in Persian. I like little details like that when developers will attempt to give a bit of authenticity to a fictional setting.
Did you choose the dialog randomly or were you doing it a specific way? I noticed most of the time you would go renegade, but then with Mordin there were a few times you chose a paragon response. Just curious cause I just started my renegade pt on the first game
I'll never understand why Bioware included options to play "Evil" Shepard. Renegade should not mean Evil Shep who is wiling to kill innocent people and wipe out an entire colony of humans. It is completely against Sheps motivations for the entire mission. It's the same as Anderson says for Saren. Saren killed 500 people when there was another option available but he chose the easy way. Shep does the exact same evil thing by killing the Ferros colony. He HAD another option available. But your character chooses the easier path of just wiping them out. That's not being a renegade that is being an evil ridiculous cartoon character.
A truly crappy game. Thanks for the shortcut to just the story bits. Hard to sit through. It has none of the atmosphere and the interesting levels of the first one.
I always enjoyed the rocket launcher with its user guided secondary fire mode. Slap on a range mod and you can hit everything in a level from one position...almost. In the last area, I hop over the wall on the outside, aim up and fire. Sometimes I can get partially into the aquinus building. At least 30 seconds of flight time.
Many thanks for compiling the cutscenes from this obscure video game. Although this game isn't everyone's favourite Deus Ex game, Invisible War still remains relevant, mostly thanks to its predictions about today's heavy use of artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality (VR) technology. Heck, most of the voiced dialogue sound as if it was AI-generated!
