Oh, bro, if only you did a whole series of these game series. I like the quality here, depth and also, most importantly, the fact that here subtitles are included! You don't want to miss a bit of that writing and linguistic feast. Thank you so very much!

It got as much of a conclusion as we're going to get unfortunately. Defiance at least brought the two protagonists together in a sense. So many questions and threads left unanswered, but Defiance serves as our finale (barring a miracle where we get a sequel)

I feel like the story was incredible indeed but the game itself, heh, not so much... it's aged poorly and even in its time it already felt dated. Early game is good but when you reach Avernus or the Dark Eden it really starts going downhill with the entire Nemesis part being a total mess.

@@lotharschramm5000 I guess the game has aged poorly. Especially with the loading times changing equipment. I can't remember too much around the nemesis part but I guess it probably was a bit sloppy. As a kid I found it very dark and intriguing. Felt liked I'd got passed the kiddy games and was onto something a bit more grown up.

I feel like many things were still missing on this video. Examples like When Kain finds the book of the hidden cult that worships Hashak'gik whom turns out to really be Turell, Raziel's sarafan brother that was not seen in Soul Reaver 1 but in Defiance. Then was Kain's dialogue that he found strange that William the Just was armed with the Soul Reaver and that his blade was broken when he defeated him, leaving Kain with an ominous feeling of dread. These are key elements to the entire series in fact, all connected to the overall arc of the story spanning all 5 games.
