Hi, May I ask what kind of round brush you are using with the black handle nearing the end of your painting of this AMAZING big leaf in your Saunders Waterford High white review : Hot pressed paper. There is a test paper with blue to the right when I view. Thank you for your time. ~ Stacey
thank you. I have a sheet of vellum that water wrinkled when I glued it to a back plate, after viewing your video I may have not left it under heavy books long enough.
I’m starting to get used to the grittiness, but it’s been a trail of tears. I like that it’s tougher than the Stonehenge, but I love the smoothness of Stonehenge, but I have so much of this paper, I gotta use it
Your work is mesmerizing and simply unsurpassable. Botanical art is a very much a treasured art and one which I admire tremendously. Your work leaves me desiring to accomplish at least a modest level of accomplishment. I dream on, inspired like artists like you. Thank you.
I am simply blown away by your work and am so delighted to have just discovered you on RU-vid! This particular work is absolutely astounding as are others I've seen of yours. You capture the real essence of your subject that affects the soul with such intensity.
One element of your work I admire very much is that instead of trying to portray the species in a generic sense, you are painting the individual in front of you. It provides a meaningful encounter for the viewer. Thank you for sharing your work here! I hope you continue to share.
I ordered the full sheets and they sent that yellowish gritty paper and I absolutely HATE IT!! Forget clean lines. It’s just terrible and I have so much of it and don’t know what to do with it!!
Thank you Dianne for this tutorial. I was about to write to you on how to use a tracing paper after watching your videos in the course and then found this on RU-vid. :)
