Als ik de motor op contact zet en heb een spanning onder de 12v zou ik zeker eerst de accu controleren. Accuspanning onder de 12.7v is een aanduiding dat deze slecht begint te worden. Of een druppellader er opzetten als hij lang stil staat of een de accu vernieuwen. Dit is zeker een video die de moeite waard en heb hem dan ook opgeslagen.

I did this to mine today. Have been thinking for a while there has to be a modification. I was sick of seeing a "low voltage start" even with a new battery and always on trickle charge. Thanks you so much
I have a LX 186 with the 17HP air cooled single cylinder and it states in the manual, to prevent contamination in hydraulic system, DO NOT drain or change the hydrostatic transmission fluid.
@@garyvisintin8431 I bought it new in 1991 and still runs like a new one. I'm afraid if I go against the owners manual and change it now and it goes bad I might regret it.
Naja laut BG ist nur das Messer wie im Video verboten. Aber solange du die Ader nicht beschädigst ist es doch egal. Sofern dieser cuter neu sind, schneiden sie gut.
Thanks very much for posting this, I have just gone through the whole modification process but I tapped into the green/blue wire not at the block connector (which requires the whole front of the bike to be taken off) but via the left hand switchgear wiring instead. Works just the same but simpler for me! 👍
Many thankx to you guys, I own 1100 GS for 20 years now and blinking ABS was one drawback of this excellent machine. Even with 12.6 V ABS did not pass the test. It is also related to condition of starter motor I guess, but this modification just do the trick. Just finished after two-three hours of work, quite simple job, but not for complete novice. THANKS!!
Kannst Dich doch mit einem Abmantelmesser quälen, wenn Du möchtest. Ich arbeite auch nur mit dem Cuttermesser. Bin vermutlich ein schlechter Elektriker in Deinen Augen.
@@OttoSchulz-eb8lo wohl eher Profi, Aber mit dem Cutter-Messer kann nicht jeder Elktriker um gehen. Daher schon berechtigt, der Hinweis auf fachgerechtes Werkzeug. Cuttermesser habe ich bei meinen Le(e)hrlingen auch aus dem Werkzeug verbannt. Es gab zuviele Selbstverstümmlungen.
@@detlef-frankmuller6371 Einem Le(e)hrling würde ich auch nur ein Abmantelmesser zur Verfügung stellen, da es mit den UVV nicht vereinbar ist und er die handwerklichen Fähigkeiten noch erlernt.
Hi- I watched your very informative video and thank your for the precise instructions. However now I have already bought the hydraulic fluid. But I can take it back- Did you notice anything bad upon your using the hydraulic fluid? Also I have 3 bolts (plugs) under there and I could not see which one you took out? Thank you!
