I think we all used to do this at some point LM. I also used to use a scalpel and roll the wire on the desk until I could feel the wire through the outer but these were a game changer!
Now has the scars to prove its been used in anger. Great that injora is listening and jumping in on here. Think they are a great aftermarket company and impressed they listen and watch. 👍
Wow, that's why we love INJORA always working to improve stuff. I love the skid on this design! I would love to see a SOA conversion that works with a fusion 2 in 1 😉
This vid comes at a good time as I’m looking for my first soldering station. Would you reckon something like this would be a good all-rounder for a first station, or should I go for something simpler/something from a better known brand?
I really would recommend this as it has everything you need to get started and it's reviews (long term as well) have been very positive. I did a fair bit of research before making this purchase as money is very tight right now.
The same happened to my 10.2 one, after I managed to drive/jump my rig off a three meter cliff, sending it flying straight into the ground. I cut two strips of styrene and glued one on each side of the rail. Has held up great for nearly a year. :)
Hey LM thanks, I always try and use/fix what I have if I can. I may go 4 link and SOA though. If I am going sell/raffle this one I want it to be trouble-free.
I would agree if it wasn't for the great big lump of brass that sits on the front of the rails holding the servo. If it was just cosmetic the Lexan would be fine.
Thank you LM I think I am going to have to do a back-to-back tyre/wheel set-up testing video. This light wheel set-up has baffled me a little. Thank you for being here x
Thank you u sy, PS the guy in this video with me has a pimped Texan on Trenchers too. He has tons of videos on it. Oh and I have a video in the works you'll love I know it ;)
Well, thank you LM1 I am just waiting for some springs and a new body shell to arrive so more content inbound. We'll do some testing after the changes and then a desktop analysis maybe? I am actually really enjoying these videos so I am glad you are too ☺
Hey, I am also considering swapping the 2 speed transmission for a single speed, but sadly, most if not all the lash is in the axles. Mainly from the hex pins, they are just too loose. There are some people glueing them or shimming them. If you sort it, I'd be interested in how you get on.
