I'm surprised about the motor shaft breaking. That Hobbywing Max 6 combo that comes standard really is a pretty great combo. I'm guessing that, with factory gearing that 5mm shaft is fine, but probably got stressed when you geared it up but didn't quite snap, but just happened to give up after it was geared back down? I do wish that 5th scale RTRs came with motors that have 8mm shafts, though. Even if it adds to the price. The Hobbywing 5687 would have been a great choice.
So I’m not certain that the motor is hobbywing but the esc definitely is. I couldn’t believe it either when that shaft broke. My opinion the shaft broke because the inserts in the chassis for the gear cover pulled out and the mesh got too tight. You could be right too I just can’t be certain
Really nice McD brother Kyle and man Brian has a nice big piece of land! What we all dream of having to run our RCs and dirtbikes and that gator with tracks on it was pretty dang cool . Never seen that set up on one of those before!
I just got a 30 degree north DDT-7 and was really scratching my head when I seen the 25:1 ratio! I’ve broken the motor in running that ratio and even fouled a plug. I’ve run dirt bikes and snowmobiles and my go to mixture was always 40:1. Thanks for the info!
Had the same issue with the cover. Drilled through the chassis and just used a longer screw and nylock nut. Been good since. Please contact Redcat and tell them they are working on a fix and need to know what yoy did to fix it.
Awesome ,I seen bigfoot come out behind the trees to help!..🤣😂 Hill climbs are a lot of fun with RC's ,I use to do it with my 1/8 MT , but with a hill much more steeper & longer!..😎👍
I have a number of Vevor products like an 18.5 ft, telescoping ladder which is super sturdy even with my 280lb frame on it. A Vevor range hood over the kitchen stove, a couple of Vevor heat presses, and a Vevor vinyl cutter for making custom shirts, hats and hoodies. I also just got the Vevor 3400psi pressure washer and assembled it today. I have yet to use the pressure washer, but I can say everything I've bought from Vevor works really well and the prices can't be beat. I intend to use the pressure washer on my house and walkways tomorrow. I'll get back to you guys and let you know how it goes.
Really waiting for your comment, because I'm going to buy this machine for professional use, but I'm worried that might be a less powerful model will be enough for me.
@@EfimovnikCom , I pressure washed my house, driveways and walkways today and the Vevor 3400psi did a wonderful job. I would say it is close to bare minimum for what you would need to do professional jobs. No lower than 3200psi for pro jobs. I personally would get the Vevor 3600psi for $15 more if I were using the machine for professional jobs but the 3400psi would get the job done as well. Excellent machine imo.
@@redwolfacutinaantam7725 Thank you very much for the reply. I am planning to buy a 4400 PSI 4.0 GPM , it seems to me that anything below that capacity will not be enough or I will just be running it for a very long time.
@@EfimovnikCom , be careful with a washer that powerful especially if you do houses. 4400psi can strip the wood off of houses and the paint off of siding as well as cars. Hopefully you are a pro and know exactly how to use it if using a machine that strong. Good luck with your endeavors, friend!
