O-ring replacement kit is in my cart. Compressor rebuild parts still have to be figured out. Ive got my fingers crossed that once the o-rings are replaces and r134a is charged that it will hold pressure and work perfectly... But I suspect I will have to rebuild the compressor and replace the dryer.
I live in Orlando I hope mine pulls through next month I miss driving my firebird, it was just hit from the back, knocked the bumper off that was it they talking about it was a TL I said kiss my ass an kept it
Can you repair it yourself or does the work have to be done by a shop. I have fixed this same car twice when my sister hit the frond end. Same type of damage now but was hit by somebody else and the guy at fault insurance will declare it a total loss if we go ahead with the claim. Also we have owned the car since brand new (well dad has it's his car). Car has no frame damage...and was driveable from the accident to our house....
I have a 97 328i convertible. Recently my front driver and passenger windows do not go down. But the rear quarter windows do go up and down. Would fixing/replacing the comfort relay fix this issue?
Loved this build series man, really helped with the repair and restoration of my E36! Even 4 years later. Glad you guys did all the scary and daunting stuff before i did ahaha. Keep up the good work boys!
What do the exactly inspec, cause I'll do the same but I don't now if it's necessary to fix de Air Bag System, everything I done just that light that is On
Yes, that’s correct. Keep in mind that it’s a close match, but there will be some variance depending on the age and condition of your car’s existing paint. Other than that, works great!
I was about to change the entire comfort module, but I think it's worth doing that first. I can't open / close my windows using the buttons (just rarely), sometimes both windows open completely on their own. When the car is locked, if I touch the driver side handle, the window opens a little, then closes (my lock sensor is brand new). Another strange thing is that I can completely close both windows by holding the key in the lock. Do you think switching the relay is gona fix this?
Hey guys, great video! Thank you! I have a question about the physical inspection. I am wondering what that is all about. Is it only checking road worthiness, and safety items? What I mean is, if I had parts replaced (no airbags deployed), but did not have the paintwork done, or still have dents in the fender or doors, will that fail? I have a 2016 Audi A4 Premium Plus, and it drives amazing. But, I still have not finished getting cosmetics done on some portions of the vehicle. Do I need to have it 100% finished? Or will it pass as long as it drives well, has all lights, blinkers, solid wheels, tires, seat belts, etc. And all airbags are still 100% operational? Thank you for any insight you can provide!
Question..do they check dashboard lights. All I had to replace was drivers side mirror that was knocked off during the wreck. But now a light in the dash has come. Just wondering if this is checked during inspection. Thank you.
I'm in Poinciana, there's one regional rebuilt inspection facility in Orlando, 4101 Clarcona-Ocoee Road. Next closest is Tampa, 5701 E. Hillsborough Ave.
