Headcanon: Sir Handel was pretty disappointed about losing to Carr and wouldn’t stop ranting about it to the others, but it was nothing they haven’t heard before. Even when getting back to Sodor engines from the mainline (Henry Gordon and James) were sure not to let him hear the end of it. I can also imagine when meeting for the first time, Sir Haydn found that his Sodor brother can be quite the handful to deal with as he heard (it’s possible being way older Sir Haydn could be more mature and wise especially after losing his siblings on the Corris Railway so basically HIT and CGI Sir Handel with some Duke but not as grumpy or a perfectionist).
Absolutely beautiful shots. Thank you for putting this together for those of us that were unable to attend! I need to make it up there one year. Great video!
Lost count how many times I've appeared in this 😂 great work mate, was brilliant seeing you again. Hopefully won't be too long before we see eachother again
If it's any help to you, CROESNEWYDD can be shown in phonetical English pronunciation as CROYS NEWEETHE. Just thought I'd try to help a bit. Nice video by the way.
Ayyyy I went as well for my birthday and I did appear Also something interesting I was on the double header with Fenchurch and 80100 (80151) and Fenchurch was working so hard that soot got into the coach (we had the window open because it was warm) and I did see sparks on the tunnel roof
Easily my favourite type of Pannier! Sadly, Weymouth tramway is no more now that the council have ripped the rails up. What a tourist attraction that could have been..
Bro chases 7714 like it's his job 💀 This was beautiful man, so many lovely shots here. I especially liked the brake van ride POV, and the Pannier departure shot right at the end 🤩🤩
I remember travelling behind 1369 on the South Devon Railway when I went on holiday to Devon as a child, so travelling behind her at the Severn Valley's Spring Gala a few weeks ago brought back some memories! I'd forgotten how characterful she is, not to mention how small (is it odd to call a steam engine adorable?)!
Im an engineering apprentice at the SDR, and 1369 is easily my favourite loco to work on- far easier than a normal pannier to maintain and has bags of character!
Magnificent video mate. I find 1369 a very interesting Pannier Tank. I've seen & rode behind her at the Severn Valley Railway during their Spring Steam Gala weekend almost 3 weeks ago.
@@TheMidlandTerrier hi, I’ve just come back from my visit, and it was AMAZING! Despite only Dolgoch and Sir Haydn running, they were steaming Tom Rolt at Pendre, and at the last hour I was there, St Cadfan pulled into the wharf! It was quite lively considering how quiet it was
Remember that not everything shown in the plans will end up being the final product! The Talyllyn does desperately need space for rolling stock however and space is rather limited!
