The main difference is in low light, I guess. I have 2 crop sensors, a6400 and a6300 and with the sigmas trio, i catch so much light, what i miss is from this 3 lenses is stabilization and i have unless i use a tripod i only used the 18-105 G f4. The 6700 will save me so much money as I could sell the 6300 with the kit lens but still using the 4 other lenses.... but i still i would don't do that only only to save money. I am still tempted to buy a new a7iii with for 1075 pounds and than add one prime lens. Ps i looked a used a7iv used prices on ebay uk and i still think that unless they drop the price is better to buy it new.
I don’t understand sweat and why this couldn’t be a 24-50? Don’t get me wrong it’s a beautiful lens I just wish it had that 24 and 50 focal length since they are so widely used across all genres of filmmaking.
The biggest disadvantage is that it is made of aluminum. Aluminum scratches very easily. I saw an aluminum lens from Sigma that looks very, very ugly, the paint has peeled off.
Hi, thanks for all the tips! I am editing a studio photoshoot now, but I spent way too long per photo to remove dirt on the backdrop on the floor and change the lighting. Like 5 min. per photo x 140 (already culled) photo’s.
Does it matter compared to the mk 1 I don’t mind a slower focus I used it and thought it was great! What concerns me is the overall weight of both lenses if it’s a significant difference then I’ll consider otherwise I’ll get the mk 1 for the low
Great information here. Do you know if it's possible to use different capacity memory cards? Maybe use a 256 gb card in slot one, and a 128 GB card in slot two?
How is it different from canon 17-55 2.8 Is Usm? If I have the canon, is it worth the change to the sigma for the R7? Is a comparison between these two possible?
i have a question re: crop sensor with a full frame lens. i understand the crop affects the focal length, but does it also affect the aperture of lens? As I understand it, when using full frame lens on FX30, it "crops" both focal length & aperture so I'm wondering if the crop feature is similar on a7iv's crop mode or if it just affects focal length.
It does NOT have the same auto focus system as the z8/z9. You couldn't make a 1 minute video without getting one of the most important facts about the camera wrong?
@jklbd4815 Maybe you should check out the current reviews and specs on the Canon EOS R5 vs the Nikon Z8 and Z9 like I have. Neither of the current best Nikon can outperform the most current Canon, when it comes to auto focus and tracking.
I just bought the Fx3 and its over 3 years old. Consumerism just makes us think we need the newest all the time. The Fx3 fits 101% of my needs so i dont think i will need something else for the next 3-5 years :)
@@StefanoLombardoYT Pretty annoying to see that dead horse argument yapped over and over again honestly. If someone is coming from a camera without flip display he might find they can get more creative with shooting from different angles thanks to that display for example.
