never understand why people even get mad at that. its part of the game. when your on the mound, behind the plate, wherever, you will get contact somewhere. its bound to happen, just man up, take the hit and go to the next pitch... Its not like anyone can completely control that. a line drive to the mound is inevitably going to happen at some point.
Its funny cuz Marshburn, is talking shit about "ill beat his ass" B1tch, you started it, and then didn't move your feet! Just stood there! Then all your buddy's grabbed him and pulled him away! Then you start Talking about how you are going to BHA! LOL
I’m sorry but at this level hitting up the middle should be enough to get you tossed. Rec and maybe D I can see it. But once you get to C and above at that point players are pretty good with placing it. It’s not like the older days where balls weren’t leaving the bat at 90+ MPH
This guys wearing a helmet and shin guards, and there crying. Try catching the ball instead, Yes I been pitching about 30 years and never wore any of that crap. Pull up your big boy pants.
I play softball and its an extremely competive atmosphere. Plus there are a lot of long time rivalries. I was in a few scuffles recently. I found it really exciting and it was a nice change of pace. These guys in this film are very talented players i can assure you. And they are big guys.
Hold up, why’s he wearing all that gear?? I pitch USSSA and just wear a mouth guard. Of course I’m one of those pitchers who just doesn’t let the other team hit the ball. I’m one of those who will throw your timing off and piss you off tho. I don’t do the spinning and goofy stuff like that. I’ll pitch standing but will change my step to the back or the side. But I definitely mix it up. I haven’t been hit yet since I started pitching at 30, and I’m 53 yo playing in a regular men’s C league. I’ll get them so frustrated that they can’t focus enough to hit it right up the middle 😂 Plus I’ve always been a good fielder w quick reflexes. If a batter does line drive it at me, after I catch it I’ll toss it to my SS and say “damn, he almost hits the ball as hard as my daughter and she uses a 30oz bat😂😅
In the (first) Redneck softball game, it looks like the 2nd baseman tagged the runner in the face and pushed his face with the glove after the tag.....and it was a "force" out. Punk-ish if true, but who knows what all took place before this...probably A LOT.😆
Woopie. The batting form these guys exhibit it lousy. Looks like most of these guys are just bodybuilders. I used to routinely hit ones 385 to 405 on the fly, and I could run a 10.8 100 meters. Not impressed.
I pitched in men’s slow pitch leagues and if the opponent kept coming up the middle and if I stopped the ball, you best just walk straight to bench. I’ve been known to throw the ball off a bit.
I’ve pitched in men’s leagues and usually back up at least close to 2nd base for my own protection. I’ve taken shots off the legs in a few occasions but generally make a play on the ball. Still very dangerous. Wish I wore gear in 90’s when I played most of my games.
Vasectomy Battle. Ever since the hot dot and other 52/300 balls the bats are breaking less. The manufacturers were tired of all the bat RMA returns and fake receipts they honored.
