Hi everyone! My name is Sheri. I created this site to be a go-to site for everything beauty, skincare, makeup, lifestyle & more. I’m excited to share ideas and experiences and also learn some new things from you! I am 51 years old and I am passionate about beauty and skincare. I am constantly researching and testing out new products, studying ingredients and buying the next best "anti-aging" miracle serum. I personally feel sunscreen is the #1 anti-aging product we can ever use. Although I don’t really believe “anti-aging” is possible, we can definitely age gracefully.
I truly appreciate you visiting my site. I hope you enjoy GRACEFUL BEAUTY.
She is strong and graceful, as well as cheerful about the future. Her words are sensible, and advice is thoughtful. (Prov. 31: 25-26 CEV)
I'm just here to learn more. About hooded eyes not about makeup, please. Forgive me. I am very heavy hooded with very deep socketed eyes. These bags above my eyes actually block some of my vision but it's been that way since I was born.I just wanted to learn more about it.
I'm one of those rare people that haven't worn makeup since high school. Being in the Army (and in Texas my last 7 years) I never bothered with it. I want something quick and easy. With your tips (including sparce brows) and did it in about 5 minutes. Thank you, thank you, thank you! P.S. I absolutely loved your eyebrow video!
I'm older than you, and recently a doctor recommended HRT. My insurance doesn't cover it and they want $300+ every 3 months for now on. I read the side effects and nope, I will not do it. There has to be a natural option out there.
That's because I don't use filters. You're seeing my scar from my spinal surgery...and my tech neck wrinkles. You are most definitely new to my channel and you sure seem like such a joy to be around. Hope you have a beautiful weekend. 😁
I think both sides are beautiful! The darker makeup is just more dramatic, but still pretty! I don't think you should totally abandon the dark side, haha!😂😆 You did a great job on both. I do see your point though, and I agree that as you get older, less is more--and that's exactly what I've began doing the last few years, now that I'm in my 50s. But I look pretty young still, and people think I'm 35 when I'm actually 55. (Black don't crack, it's true, lol.) But I have been looking for a more youthful way to apply make-up, especially using less eyeliner, so I'm going to try your lighter side approach. 🎉 You're humble and sweet, yet beautiful and confident that you are doing what's best for *you*, while telling others that they should do what's best for *them*. That's awesome. Terrific job! 👍❤
Do you know what she had a brow lift. I can definitely see it at 50 something years of age she definitely had a brow lift people don’t look that good at that good without any kind of wrinkle between the eyes. Aging is ubiquitous in all of us and no matter how you try to mitigate it will eventually show unless you do cosmetic surgery to keep it a little at bay.
Hi, you look radiant!! I know you suffer if melasma, so do I. If you were about to start your clearing melasma journey now, what’s the routine you would follow? Morning and night.
Hi, ok I'm convinced to get this but i just wondered, why did you stop using your tretinoin? I use Retin A every night. not sure if the media 8 would be better, thought tretinoin was the best thing to use.
Tretinoin is fabulous. But I stopped because once in a while I would randomly get irritation and then deal with peeling, irritation etc. I wanted something that worked just as amazing BUT never caused irritation. This RetinAl in Medik8 is encapsulated so it is a slow release but high strength so it works just the same for my skin but no peeling or irritation ever. Tret is less expensive though if your insurance pays for it but it's really a personal preference. If you love your Tret though, stick with that. But I much prefer my Medik8. And I mention in another video I believe but if I want an "at home peel" I use the Medik8 Sleep Glycolic serum and then layer the Medik8 retinal and my skin looks like I had a gentle peel at a spa...without having to go to a spa LOL. 💜
Thank you Sheri 🤗 Used your code a few minutes ago to purchase both Serums ! I am out of my serums and remembered you and Dermelect. So excited to shorten my skincare routine and for the results.
I tried what you said I bought the Beauty sleep serum and the Medik 8 20 because I have been doing tretinoin for a while and love your skin.. I also tried the together approach, and my face looks beautiful and like glass. I am so glad I listened to you on this. I am glad you explained exactly how you do it also. Your skin is beautiful and also please keep the videos coming. Thank You! I love the do, do.. lol! Issued Truth also and loved it but trying this for now. I also agree that when it was hot I had an issue with truth, but the stuff is amazing also.
That's why I stated to use whatever eye cream works for YOU. It's a hack, tip, trick....not about needing to use a specific product. Try it with YOUR faves. 😁
It is a retinaldehyde. Adapalene is retinoic acid so depending on the strength, it's stronger. I like that one too but I don't have as great anti aging results. But it's great to prevent my acne and it's super affordable. But either are great depending on your needs. Just don't forget your sunscreen. But stick w Adapalene if you have great results 💗
It's nice but I wasn't blown away by the results. I like how thick it is though so it's nice for cooler months. But I prefer using my eye cream with retinal in it and then top with any moisturizing eye cream. 💗
In my opinion a hot flash feels like getting a CT-Scan with the dye. It feels like it just goes from bottom to the top of my head. I don’t do this anymore as I’ve been in menopause since 2011. I do get warm only now. I only took Black Cohash (tablet) and Vitamin E twice a day for hot flashes. This is what my PA told me about. Of course you need to ask your Dr about doing the black Cohash
Hi Sheri! I have a question for you. After doing the at home peel with the Medik8 Crystal Retinal and Sleep Glycolic, do you continue using the retinal nightly or stop until the skin peels? Thanks!!
