i still dont know how you guys can count stitches so easily. idk what makes it to hard for me but i cant for the life of me tell which if the millions if little holes is the one i need to put the hook through. 😭 the lik scarf I'm making already has countless skipped/ dropped stitches
My goodness girl. Your thoughts are so deep. I'm 68 years old and believe me when I say that you have the rest of your life to become. And every day, you are in the process of coming into your own. Think about it. It might seem like a small thing, but planning your own menus, figuring out how much you can purchase on the amount of funds that you have available. Making those groceries last until you can afford more. In this day and age, those are major accomplishments. Be proud of yourself. Love yourself and accept the pace your growing at. Pacing yourself and your growth will bring you peace. And there are no gifts worth more than peace, love, and joy. Take care. People care about you.
Love this sweater, but I've never crocheted a graph before. I really want to make this, but have to wait until next month to buy the pattern. I've only been c crocheting for a year, but I've made lots of cardigans, sweaters, purses and amigurami by watching U-tube tutorials. Do you think I would have problems with the graph.
Hello! Thank you-I’m so happy you love the sweater c: I have instructions on how to read the graph so I’m hoping those would answer any questions you have! As for the pattern itself, it may be a bit complicated if you’re not used to taking your measurements and plugging that into the formulas I have, but if that ever confuses you, i can always do the calculations for you (feel free to email me if you need assistance)! Otherwise, I’d like to think it’s a detailed pattern because I have lots of photos and also include a video tutorial on how to make the sleeves 💖
@@byredbean Thank you for your quick response. I am looking forward to purchasing your pattern and making it for my youngest granddaughter. I know she'll love it as much as I do. Best wishes to you.
I'm a beginner but I catch onto stuff really quickly so I was a bit surprised when I couldn't understand this tutorial. I don't know how to finish the first row, and it keeps turning into a circle-like shape. Do you have any raw clips that aren't cut or help me know which stich I should go into? I thought these were really cool and I'm kind of frustrated that I can't figure it out. :(
yeah this tutorial was one of the first ones I ever made so it's definitely not the best one out there :') what you can do if you're not understanding the foundation double crochets is to foundation chain (basically, "chaining"), then join them into the round before making a round of double crochets (you can find tutorials on how to do that on yt c:). you can also dm me on ig @by.redbean with photos as it makes it easier for me to figure out what might be wrong with your work <3
Hello everyone! I'm currently writing a pattern for this bag which will probs be available late November c: I will update on YT when the pattern is out but if you want faster updates, I post more on Instagram @by.redbean <3
@@laurence2903 I'm using recycled cotton from the brand "we love yarn"! some substitutes of this would be lily sugar 'n cream or drops paris yarn! basically any worsted weight cotton <3 also tysm c:
Hi. I'm an impatient person sometimes, and right now my creative juices are flowing so I'm going to try to make this on my own from the information you gave in the video and from some other videos. So I had to ask, how many chains did you make for the front and back panels of the bag?
@@Channieslostchild ok i thought i replied to this but i guess the comment didn't save ;w; anyway!! I would basically have to count my sts since I didn't note of it yet. what I did as shown in the video was lay my first row down to see if it matches a messenger bag I already own c: but in general I'm not super comfortable with sharing any details about designs I plan on making into a pattern publically (unless it's super general questions). it's okay if you see it as gatekeeping but it's mostly bc I rely on my job + patternmaking to pay for part of college + keep me feeling less stressed financially since my house burned down in April. I hope my reasoning makes sense, but it's okay if it doesn't!
Idk what im doing wrong but i keep getting these like open spaces between my work from whenever i start a new round (don't know if i explained that well enough) but its from when i start a new row with my needles
If you don’t mind, pls send me a dm on ig @by.redbean or email me at byredbean@gmail.com w photos & I can see if there’s anything I can recommend to fix this issue c:
I used drops safran! It’s a sport weight cotton that’s I feel is pretty affordable compared to other similar cotton yarns! I got mine from wool warehouse (it’s like $8 USA shipping… which isn’t too bad…). Each 50g skein is about $1.80 I believe!
From my knowledge, a crochet with me is more like a vlog c: if there are videos where ppl explain the amt of stitches, etc, it’s more like a video tutorial! I’ve watched plenty of crochet with me/knit with me videos and they feel more like vlogs tbh! But maybe the types that you’ve watched are more like video tutorials.
I got it from stitch spring! I’m part of their affiliate program so if you do end up getting something from them, you can use my code “REDBEAN” for a discount c:
It can hold weight just fine! I lined mine and the straps are reinforced (though I’m likely going to also line the straps as well even tho I didn’t do it at first). I haven’t released a pattern for this yet tho as this isn’t a tutorial but rather a crochet with me video c: I plan on releasing the pattern later during winter after it’s been tested 💖
hello! it's Tunisian crochet! idk how to explain it well, but it's basically a bunch of linked stitches (so you end up holding a bunch of loops on your hook) and there are tons of tutorials on yt showing you how to do it c:
Okay I'm convinced, this will be my next project❤ I love this bag so much, your creativity is so wonderful and inspiring. I love watching your videos while knitting, they are so cozy 😊
This is crazy. I was looking for a tutorial for crocheting a messenger bag js now!! then you a youtuber that I've been following for a long time uploaded this!! it's like you read my mind !! ily<3
