Is she doing it to prove her existence and get validation? Thats generally the prupose or to win money. Otherwise if nobody really cared u wudnt waste ur time doing it right
One thing you might want to look into is Density Altitude. This is something I have NEVER heard elite aerobic athletes consider which baffles me. I have even talked to a D1 college runner whose major was in sports science and he never even heard of density altitude. He was a guy who conducted experiments on athletes including himself. So why is density altitude important ?? It's important because density altitude is standard pressure CORRECTED for non standard temperature. It makes a TON of sense when you said when the temperature spiked up, that your breathing became correspondently more difficult. It is obvious what took place, the density altitude shot up. I bet, if you had someone doing the calculations at that moment your breathing got harder to do, I bet the density altitude was probably 8000 or 9000 feet. In other words, your body felt as though it were at 8000 or 9000 feet on a "standard day" {which is 29.92 inches of mercury}. Now, as I have already told Alley about a month ago, if you want me to explain density altitude in easy to understand language, I can do that - but you're going to have to E mail me. I can even do calculations for you if you want. So if you're interested, click on my channel and find my E mail and give me a ring. As I told Alley, this is totally 100% free, I'm not selling anything, just trying to help out. OR you can just google density altitude but if you do that, be ready for some complicated stuff and you'll really have to study the text hard to understand it which I'm sure you're capable of - after all you went to Georgetown. But I'm telling you, if you're training at higher elevations and not considering density altitude, you're leaving out a GIGANTIC piece of the puzzle in your debrief.
God bless you guys the only way to heaven is by believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord and savior! Do you need prayer or praise over anything my friends? I am so glad God made you guys?
Great to see you getting back into shape! So David mentioned you were aerobically underdeveloped… when you worked with Ari and were doing some more controlled slower threshold work and you ran a storming low 14 road 5k… that shows that more aerobic work definitely works for you right? So possibly consider the higher mileage plus some of the controlled threshold work?

I’m curious, did you ever try cross training on the bike or swimming to build aerobic base? For me it’s much easier to control heart rate and go longer without injury risk
Nice one! Welcome to my old Marathon PR Race Pace 😜! I agree with Roche in terms of Aerobic Development and Base...although I think initially if you start pushing 70-80 miles a week you might want some more doubles actually. And then pivot to Mountain Running 😅?!
