I own a white M235i X Drive, awesome car, love driving it and it is very comfortable even on long journeys. My local Costco though is getting regular visits
Hello, Thank you for the video. I just ordered the Tiguan , but with normal suspension , I think that suspension will be much lower in quality compared with DCC pro . And I have ordered the 1.5 - 150 HP is it not underpowered ? I come from an Passat B8 2.0 TDI - 150 HP . Thank you .
Horrible ugliness on the outside and trash on the inside. They try to pull the wool over customers' eyes with frills such as flashing lights and a nasty monitor in the middle of the board, straight from Aliexpress. Pity
@@DrivingViews I have a Tiguan II and I wanted to exchange it for a new one. But after this presentation I was disappointed. Operating the monitor interface while driving poses a risk to drivers and passengers. This type of solutions should be prohibited.
Nette video! ✌️🏎️💨
I'm just chosing between this one and 2.0 TDI and don't know which one. After years on diesel and now having a B8 2.0 TSI I feel very comfy with petrol engine. But 2.0 TSI is still not available (I like to have a plenty of power in backup, but I'm more let's say "ECO" kind of driver). I must order it as a company car this month, so I must now chose from these two 100 kW variants only available in my budget :D What will you recommend?
Question you need to ask yourself is 1 how many kilometers/miles will you do on a monthly basis. So that will decide if you would go Diesel or Petrol 2. If you do go for Petrol and you want to be ECO and still have enough power you should go for the Mild Hybrid it will help with the power but also being Economically. I would recommend the 1.5 TSI eHybrid with 177HP it’s more then enough and very economical! I myself drive the Golf Variant with 1.5TSI fuel economy is so good so I can imagine dailying a 1.5TSI eHybrid is just the perfect combination.
@@DrivingViews Hello, thank you for your answer. I thought about eHybrid also, but as it's technologically ahead of the basic engines, it's price is set a bit higher and it's over my budget :(
I understand! If you do a lot of kilometers then I would go for the Diesel engine, if not then go for the Petrol engine, all by all it is an amazing car! Very comfortable and luxury!
Counts for many cars unfortunately.. the prices are out of the roof sometimes! So many good daily’s but people cannot afford them. So we don’t get to see them all on the road being enjoyed.
I drove one last week, braking as normal was fine, little bit of travel but not spongy. I'm from a older generation & cars now from then, I can assure you are excellent. I find Millennials are wanting things absolutely perfect or nothing. Its a great car.
Don't get me wrong this is a very great car! But I found some moments the brake pedal a bit weird and when coming to a complete stop it felt like jerking to a stop.
@@DrivingViewsthe car is so quiet that you might be over emphasizing the brake pedal. I had to adjust myself to a completely different environment. Your senses are so used to engines, clutching that we do it second nature. I felt the braking very responsive which might come across as sharp. Maybe it needs adjusting possibly, but I felt totally different inside.
@@DrivingViewsYeah, that’s the standard excuse. It’s not actually true though. The “demand” has been deliberately manufactured by the car makers because SUVs are far more profitable. Plus their mates in the oil industry like the poor fuel efficiency. Do not underestimate or ignore the power of marketing. People buy what they’re told is cool, and what they’re told they “want”. Don Draper knew this 😂
Great video! Your explanations were clear and easy to follow, and the visuals really helped bring the content to life. Thanks for sharing such valuable insights-keep up the fantastic work!
I'd also like to have Ioniq N's wireless RC toys and plastic models. It's also good for vicarious satisfaction. This is something that a toy company has to make, and I'd like to have a real car.
No, it's not 'the petrolheads ev', because there is no such thing. It's a massive, heavy, ugly, battery car. Petrolheads love petrol engines because of the sound and character of the power delivery. Edit : I worked for a Hyundai dealership for 4 years, I'm not saying it's a bad ev, but it's still an ev and no real petrolhead would call it a 'petrolheads ev' because that makes no sense at all. You might like it for what it is, but it can never be comparable to a petrol engined car.
I understand your point, but this is unfortunately this is the way we are going towards, the governments are pushing everybody to EV, I'm not saying we are all going to be driving EV cars because there are many reasons this won't be a perfect idea. But we have to give Hyundai credits for at least being different from all the other companies and actually think about the (petrolheads) to have a car to get a similiar feeling to a real combustion engine.
@@DrivingViews Yes it is a performance ev, I completely accept that, and as an ex-employee of the brand, I think they do make brilliant vehicles. I do not think that ev's are the future, however, and already a few major vehicle manufacturer's are now back-tracking on their pledge to go full ev. There are other options such as synthetic fuels, and hydrogen too, which I think will be the future. It has been proven time and time again, that ev's are not as 'green' as originally claimed, and the many ev fires (cars self-combusting, which have made companies realise that full ev vehicles are not going to be the solution. I don't particularly like the Ionic5, but that is a personal thing, and as I am definitely a petrolhead (my current car is a bmw M2), I think my opinion is particularly valid as I am exactly the buyer that companies making the 'next stage' performance cars are aiming their products at.
I say give it a chance. There are so many reviewers considering purchasing Ioniq 5N with their own money after testing the vehicle. That is a hugh endorsement from people who regularly drive super cars.
@@bbokdoong I don't like EV's, because they are electric and do not fit with my lifestyle. I could not drive something so silent, so big & heavy, or so ugly. So no, I could never 'give it a chance' because I don't like it in any way. It could be the fastest car on earth, but that isn't what makes me excited about driving, it is the noise, the smell, the nimbleness and traditional analogue feeling that a smaller lighter petrol car gives you.
Testdrived 4 different Taycan.'s, EQE AMG , Etron GT and BMW I4 but after 30 minutes in this car I was convinced. I ordered the same ecotronic grey as this one. People who think it's a gimmick or fake just need to drive it before judging
Finally. Someone who says that the quality of the materials inside the car that you _"regularly touch"_ are good 8-))... I hate it when people start _"scratching"_ at surfaces that I can't ever recall touching in any car before and moan that they're not lined with a sheepskin wool 8-((... So I'm going to ask the most boring question. Are the seats comfortable enough and would they be OK for a long 150+ mile journey or would you get out at the other end thinking, _"Christ. I'm glad that's over!"?_ But it's nice to see a car maker making an EV for petrol heads for the weekends while still keeping it as a practical EV hatchback for everyday driving. Is it me or does the exterior look similar'ish to that great hot hatch of 1987, the Lancia Delta Integrale? All in all, a good video 8-))...
Thank you for the long positive and kind words! I can tell you that, We had the car for 3-4 hours and while driving it for such amount of time in comfort/sport and relax driving and sporty driving the seats are comfortable! Only downside maybe I can give you is that because they are bucket seats they aren’t easy getting in out from. But let’s face it. Which Bucket seats come with heating, cooling, and massage?~DrivingViews
It is not a coincidence that it looks like Lancia Delta. Keep in mind that Ioniq 5 design language was based on Hyundai Pony model in 70s and was designed none other than Giugiaro who later designed Lancia Delta
@@WiktorZloty I didn't know about the Hyundai Pony, so had a quick look. My goodness. That coupé version is ugly 8-((... But I loved the look of the Lancia Delta. And I love the look of the Ioniq 5 and especially the N version. I can only presume that Giugiaro was having a bit of an off day when he designed the Pony 8-))...
That’s what you would think but after you drive the iq5n you will change ur mind! Trust me. I am a petrolhead myself but if this is the future for EV driving im very excited.
This is the color I ordered! Coming in a few months, so very cool to already see a proper (one of the first) videos with the car in this color. Thanks for this vid!
I guarantee there's a dozen VW engineers that wrote and developed an engineering pitch to do the same "shifting" feel but was squashed by management. Thank you Hyundai for taking the gamble, it will pay off.
வணக்கம் from மலேசியா. My wife bought a VW Passat (instead of then 2nd-G Tiguan All Space)in July 2022 & it's very fine. This is the only german brand that offers reasonably priced models without compromising on quality. I am eagerly await the launch of this model in my country as lm eager to own & experience a continental suv drive. Hope it can be accomadated in my large car porch one day. Good info/video.
The automotive industry has been reducing the buttons and switches but slowly they are coming back from it because they realized that the consumers don’t like touchscreen and haptic buttons. ~DrivingViews
Hey man, thanks for the video, those are some very good shots. Wanted to ask, are you sure this is sophisto grey? been looking at many 2 series and cannot find that color listed anywhere
Thank you for the kind words! This is the information the car dealership that provided the car for us gave us. A quick google search, I think it’s the correct name for the color. Hopefully this answers ur question. ~DrivingViews
