The XEV YOYO and the Citroën AMI are separate electric vehicles, but they share some similarities. Both are compact electric cars designed for urban mobility with a focus on simplicity and efficiency. Yes it's twice as expensive as the AMI but the AMI goes 45km per hour maximum were the XEV goes up to 80-90 km per hour also the range of the XEV is twice as long and it also come with much more car like features, AC - Heating - Bluetooth connecting and electric windows ~DrivingViews
For now it is only on sale in couple countries Belgium, Spain,Italy, Germany and France. But they do plan to start sales in UK this year. No exact date yet.
if you want a small economic car, for less than half the starting price of this thing, you can get a škoda fabia greenline 1.2 tdi. It uses very little fuel, cheap to run, and you can take it on long journeys if you need to do so, not to mention that they are very practical. Or you can even get a very cheap banger and run it into the ground
You have a good point but i think this is a good car for city people. The fabia will be banned from allot of city’s in Europe in the next years. If you buy this you won’t do big trips.

But I think you are missing the point when it comes to 'Nano' 'Micro' cars these are purely build to be driving around major cities where like in most European countries, older diesel models are being banned from entering these cities. Hoping these will come to ireland, but i doubt they will, im surprised we are getting the Dacia Spring...although they still havent announced a price yet, but you can be guaranteed it will be at least 3000 euro more than any other country
@@DrivingViews import tax / vrt is now ridiculous, but so is the cost of our cars in general, for example I bought a 2016 Opel Karl (like an i10) in 2023 and it was 9000 euro....I doubt it was even that much when it was brand new 😂

Correct but the first 'nano' 'micro' cars were already invented in 1970s, Now in Europe more companies are inventing these smaller fully electric cars to prevent people who live in big cities to be able to still drive a car because like in most European countries diesel cars for example are being completely banned from entering the city. -DrivingViews
