Callum knows dark magic, which is often used selfishly and is inherently destructive, draining the user’s life and sanity. Sol Regem, a dragon, believed it was only for personal gain, not realising it could be a necessary evil. Dark magic eventually consumed Viren, ruining him from the inside, though he hides his deteriorating sanity. Even when using it to save a town, he risks becoming its next threat. The king needs Viren alive to defeat the Dragon King, likely under Aaravos' control. In the end, dark magic may cost Viren his humanity, leaving his family as his only untainted legacy. The king's deal puts them both at odds with dragons and even the queen’s guards, as harming the Dragon King, even with dark magic, is a grave offense as Callum knows he thrown it into the heart that made Human as a threat for Aaravos and his kid as the people know they both given human magic powers which can uneven the world

S3 relationship building was Brilliant. S4 & 5 however was dull & boring. I mean Rayla can make mistakes like the goodbye here. But in S 4 & 5 it was the stupidest mistakes.
I still can't believe they made this already great couple break up before the events of season 4 just to add in more unnessecary drama that was never needed in the first three seasons to make this canon couple feel flawed yet authentic.
This is just my opinion, but Claudia and Terry's relationship felt... forced. I'm not saying it was bad, just forced. Rayla and Callum's relationship though, is perfect. It's slow burn and goes through development. That is how you do an animated relationship the right way.
These scenes make me cry. There are so many emotional movies and books out there but this hits your heart in such a way it hurts. Forever knowing how beautiful their love is, how genuine and real. No shining Prince or over the top romanticism. It wasn’t forced, it felt real. There was no direct line from meeting to lovers. There were ups and down. That’s why it is the most wonderful. There is pain in knowing something this beautiful only exists as a work of fiction. That there is no Rayla to my Callum. Still I am grateful that I was here to witness it.
