Big fan of these longer play sessions, I'm nauseous as hell today and so I'm just laying in bed watching this and it's helping me relax a little. I just wish City Folk let you sneak up on bugs like in some of the other games, I'm always afraid of walking just a little too fast and scaring the bug off, haha.
Autosave made Resetti useless, and felt kinda lazy for the gameplay. I haven't thought it your way, but I can quit my game anytime now, and eh... I miss my mole. As for outdoor furniture, I do agree I like to see that coming back, but only with a certain limit. When I use the Dream Suite, all kinds of Islands were full of furniture which made the game laggy and slow, which ruined it of me a lot. I do agree that it should return, but have a limit to it, just for that. Farming is something I do not mind tho, it's like the fruit trees, but lil different and smaller. All other topics I do agree on! Especially your take on the setting to be a town again, I miss the train so much, and the post office and just the overall setting of a small town to move in to.
I'm 4 minutes in, and I'm so glad to watch a 30 minutes gameplay video of the original Animal Crossing. I actually never played it, since I never had a gamecube, but hoo boy! Do I want this game to come to Switch in some form. Be it in NSO or a Remastered Version (Like they did with Metroid Prime) with online capabilities.
Genji asking if you wanted tips and then yelling at you to figure it out yourself is Peak ACGC, it got a good laugh out of me LMAO. They really don't write dialogue like they used to, I miss it.
Gigi, Bella, Gloria, Pietro, Croque, Diva, Klaus[[Dude is Greek…Dude is just manly…]], Gruff, Eugune[[How is the Elvis Presley koala ugly? He’s one of my faves as he’s a cool dude..]], and Jambette[[She reminds me of my deceased human mother as she used to paint things very feminine…wish I showed her Jambette before she died…she would’ve liked her… 😢..]] aren’t ugly period. ..Also…If you want ugly though look at Huck, Curlos, or Sheldon as they’re pretty ugly if you ask me… Croque isn’t ugly though at all as he’s meant to be an Asian dude mixed with a daruma doll and a fire colour scheme wise and I love his design… Like if you want a creepy villager look at Judy as even though I like kawaii stuff and am male I find Judy to be creepy because of her eyes.. Her being snooty also makes no sense as you’d think she’d be peppy not snooty.. No offence to anyone who likes Judy but she just looks creepy to me…

I don't really care for any of the lions, and I mainly picked Mott because he's been in my ACCF town Mushroom for a long time. The others I didn't really know very well.
I know the golden axe and shovel feel a bit random in New Horizons, but the other four golden tools are earned basically the same way as in previous games.
The thing that bugs me about NH a lot is that we STILL have no ability to make custom designs for pants, shorts, skirts, socks and/or shoes. That was one of THE big things I wanted NH to have
