Played rehearsal piano, 5 different shows for Ann Miller starting with HELLO, DOLLY when i was 18 at Kenley Players. Boy, oh boy, did a classical pianist learn about rhythm! But she was warm, befriended me and taught me where, when to cheat the metronome to accommodate her most intricate taps. "You gotta listen, watch when my locomotion hits a curve." You can't teach how to play like that in a Conservatory. You only learn from a pro . Thank you, Ann Miller for your patience.❤
I would loved to have had "tea" with Ann Miller and we could have talked about Hepburn and Capra and all the others she worked with. What a delight! I bet she could really "pour the tea" graciously.
I do not remember ever hearing this , and our family was into music. I think it got hidden as much as possible, well good for them for trying to reach out and stop the slaughter of the innocent. I was one of those misled and LIED to children when I was younger by all of the LIES & PROPAGANDA being spread by the "Liberally Retarded teachers" of the 60's & 70's, about MURDERING BABIES and calling them "fetus" or "embryo" and RATIONALIZING the MURDER by calling it "abortion!" And I made the HORRIBLE mistake of committing PREMEDITATED MURDER on my own child. The girl I was seeing got pregnant with my child, and we "mutually agreed" to MURDER OUR CHILD. We talked about it and planned exactly how and when we would do it (i.e., that means it was PREMEDITATED) then I took her to the MURDER clinic so she could TERMINATE OUR CHILD'S LIFE. Neither one of us said a single word to each other all the way back home that day. But we were both thinking the exact same thing. We had just chosen to MURDER our own child. It was the PREMEDITATED MURDER of a HUMAN LIFE! And we both knew it. And to this day I suffer the consequences of my CHOICE! That was over 40 years ago, and not a single day goes by that I don't wonder if that innocent child was my son or daughter. Not a single day goes by that I don't wonder what OUR CHILD might have become! As the song says: "Momma STOP, turn around, go back, THINK IT OVER!" The words "fetus & embryo" are merely medical terms for a HUMAN BABY forming inside its mother's womb. And the word "abortion" is just a "politically correct" word for PREMEDITATED MURDER! Don't fall for the LIBTADED MORONS LIES & PROPAGANDA! The FACT IS that it takes a HUMAN male sperm to fertilize a HUMAN female ovary, and the ONE and ONLY thing that is going to come out of that pregnancy is a HUMAN baby. You are NOT going to give birth to a kitten or a puppy or an apple tree. The ONE & ONLY result of that pregnancy is a HUMAN CHILD! And "calling it" a fetus or embryo does NOT change the FACT of what IS! And calling MURDER by a nice politically correct word will NEVER change the FACT of WHAT IS! She was nice and kind to fans she didn't know. I was very saddened by her passing. She had a dreary personal life with disappointing marriages and the loss of her baby.

Today's mass media is aimed at the lowest common denominator viewer. In today's highly complex world, specialized devices like this one would go way over the heads of most viewers. That's why internet streaming sites like RU-vid exist. If you are a drummer, guitarist or whatever, there's a RU-vid channel available for each instrument. That's where they show us all the myriad of "toys" and studio magic used to create unique sounds. Television can never return to its glory days. They are over and done with. The Learning channel has nothing educational, the History Channel is effectively useless, and MTV has little to do with music. RU-vid and other streaming services have killed whatever good material was left on TV. Podcasts have also decimated whatever audience TV had left. It's still a mystery to me why television still exists at all.
Mid or late 70's i ran into a guitar player on the holiday inn circuit. He had a Gibson 335 model re-worked to a Organ guitar. Had the Leslie cabinet and his guitar amp and bass pedals. Perfect B-3 sound. After hours he let me play it. Very Heavy ! & very complicated circuits. A blast to play tho
