My name is Thomas Hanna and I am a teacher by day, prop maker by night. I have enjoyed art from a very young age and would like to share my love of creating stuff with you. I make props out of almost anything: EVA foam, cardboard, random junk, mold-able plastic, 3D prints, castings, etc. This channel gives me an opportunity to share in depth guides on how I make, paint and finish my various works of art. If you are new to the channel, please smack that like button, drop kick the subscribe button and share with as many people as you know. I hope you enjoy. You can follow me for project updates on Facebook @ Much Props, Instagram @ much props or on Twitter @muchpropsstudio. You can also purchase items you see me build on my ETSY. If you enjoy what I do, please considered joining my Patreon.
TOO COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [I believe the Fake ones were actually Monkey heads made to look human and that they often did not have their lips sewn shut.]
Thats definitely one of your best ones so far. Loved the little spelling error on fact 5 😂😂. Please do something from Star Wars or Lord of the Rings 🧙♂️🙏👍🏼
The build is epic, Thomas. I absolutely love it. Seriously badass. Evil Ted's channel got me started with building and I have been lucky enough to meet him in person twice. The first time at a Con in Collinsville, MO and the second at a Creators Con in Oklahoma City where I also met Steve Smith and Odin Abbott. I had all three of them autograph my Mando blaster as they were three of my biggest influences. I was one happy crafter that day.
@Justrex01 thanks. Someday I will hopefully meet him and talk shop. Seems like a really genuine person, real down to earth. And all the cool stories he can tell would have me in awe for days.
Also, I think a fun video idea would be for you to show us all your collection of shields. I know you have said in the past that you collect them and it would be cool’s to see them all in one video
@collinbutterfield4368 lol. It would be difficult to get them all in a video at this point. I have sold a few, given some as gifts, and a good portion of them decorate the walls in my classroom at school.
Loving this! You need to do a full build/mash up. Hear me out, it would be cool to combine this with a Roman Gladiator with the Asymmetrical armor all in your style. It would be awesome! Or we need you to grow out the beard a bit and do Hawkman x Odin !!
@collinbutterfield4368 full cosplay is a tall order. And Hawkman, over the years, shows a bit more skin than I would want anyone to see of myself. It would make for a cool mashup idea though
@DD-vn2ev I'm not sure. This is my first time ever using it. I think it's formulated for foam. I don't know how well it would stick to a plastic or resin print.
@philabot thanks. It's always a bit nerve-wracking to spin off an established franchise, but i enjoy the custom builds so much more. Less stress on getting it exact.
@schollartheartist9558 yeah, I sold it a while back. It was a retro game store that wanted it as a display piece. So it is somewhere in a game store up north living its best life.
Sometimes, I will coat it in mod podge or a clear coat spray paint, depending on the finish I want or the type of prop it is. A lot of times, I don't add anything.
I actually like the way the color of the flesh came out. It is quite a creepy and disturbing shade. And your sculpting skills are spot on. Thank you, Thomas! I love everything you do.
I have some foam cutters, I just don't know how well it would cut through this high density foam. The smell alone would gag a maggot. Not to mention the molten hot lava of the melted foam
