@@jorgef.6477 and nowadays I'm living a few blocks away from the Blvd theater which was named after Huggy Boy. it used to be owned by a guy named Bobby Torres . way back in the late 60's - 1970's.
This isn't from 1980. Huggy Boy wasn't on KRLA in 1980 and one of the commercials is from the late 1990's. Also it sounds like the tape of Huggy Boy is sped up a little too.
I love listening to Huggy Boy, back in the da day. My Ex Wife Used to work at the Center Theater on Whittier Blvd, Where Huggy Boy Broadcasted His Show. The Opening Credits Has His Name On The Marque HUGGY BOY!
Great and wonderful memories ! Middle 70s I was 11 or 12 and would hear this type of music all through my house in Lincoln Heights being played by my older siblings...miss those days 😊
I had the honor of meeting Huggy Boy and when I was introduced to him I sang the theme song to his t.v.show and he liked it he said he didn't remember it so he thought it was cool I was only about 10 years old when my uncle would change the channel to the t.v.so he could watch the Huggy Boy show I was mad at first but I'm glad he did it.R.I..P Huggy Boy.
Always remember always having a supply of 9 volt batteries to equip my transistor radio to hear these very precious shows in the 60’s and 70’s. Would gaze out my bedroom window living in ELA just dreaming….
I go back to 1955 listening to Huggy Boy when he was broadcasting out of Dolphins of Hollywood on KRKD radio. Those were the days! I'm 84 now. I still enjoy the old tunes. There is no expiration date on good music.😎

Gee Henry Ford sure could have had one of those heaters. 😂. With all that money he had. One would think he would have Cental Heat in his Cottage at Fairlane. House . 😮 came down with the flu. And dide there. 1947 .
