Mine is doing this but lg front loader it’s been leaking into the bottom panel out the back of it I didn’t know for 2 months, But my bearing seal is gone so it’s basically scrap as I don’t feel comfortable or confident stripping it all down and a repair for this job in the uk 🇬🇧 is half the price of a new washing machine… So got a new one coming in 10 days. It’s still working for now but a high pitched electrical buzzing has started as it’s leaking on to live wires. Really don’t want to buy a new one but haven’t got much of choice mine is a 2018 model so it’s had fair use.
Great video!!! Thanks! To remove the rear light assembly, I found the easiest way is to use a trim tool and carefully pry out the bottom part of the assembly first. Then grab with your hands and pull firmly outwards.
Thank you for making this! A mechanic at a local Mazda dealership told me the broken headrests couldn't be replaced and we would need to replace the entire seat. A call to the parts department told me otherwise, but I still needed to figure out how to remove the broken guideposts. Your video has saved me hundreds of dollars, if not more, and has renewed my distrust of most mechanics.
I just discovered water coming through the middle of the trim on my old one of these. You said you caulk around the outside but not the inside. I'm wondering if I'm missing a gasket on mine because that seems like a poor design to me that water can travel through unless they intended the middle to be caulked as well
To remove the switch rotate it in the bracket then it can slide out of the hole. I found it rather easy to look in the hole under the steering column and use a 16" flat screwdriver in one hand then reach in with the left hand to grab the switch and pop the connector off. Much easier that trying to get 2 hands up under there. Was only $26 at the dealer, to make sure it's a factory genuine part. 2016 CX-5 was # BN7N-66-490A
Have had the car for one year now; while driving . . climate control panel turns itself off or goes to fan #8 while in auto mode with NO input, climate control sporadically receives "signals" (you can hear the beep sounds) while driving, and also becomes unresponsive. You CAN control climate settings with the glass display, albeit temporarily, but resorts again to "sporadic" inputs without touching the panel. Just dropped it off for ICCU and VCU updates--I did mention the problem to the service center. Don't know what will come of it. Will post if there is a solution. Not hopeful because the problem is random and inconsistent. Very frustrating. Yes, I disabled all the climate control "auto" selections available, pulled the 15A A/C fuse; disconnected battery, among other things. Connected OBDII; there were no codes displayed. I did ask for it to reset all codes; but as mentioned non popped up. All of this did not help the problem. Today while driving to the dealership, the climate control system behaved normally; there were no issues.
I5 SEL 2022. The problem persists and happens whith the car in "ready" mode or while driving on the road ( which is annoying because it deselects the "fan setting" I have "3" and gradually increases to 7 or Max in short period); but as I said it is sporadic and unpredictable. I have taken it to Dealership x 2 --- showed them multiple videos of this behavior, but without codes, they are unable to either duplicate or troubleshoot. The only way I get around it is by selecting climate control on the touch screen and selecting what's needed (a lower fan setting and/or auto temp control). Of course, when it's acting up, whatever selection I make on the touch screen is usually overridden within a few seconds by the lower climate control panel. NOTE: The touch screen above is always responsive to the settings selected. The problem is that the lower panel overrides it AND as it is doing so, you can hear the "beeps" as if someone is touching the climate control panel to make changes. For a few seconds the climate control panel is unresponsive on its left side. I have tried just about everything I can think of which includes deselecting all the auto functions of the climate control system, resetting it to OEM settings, disconnecting 12V battery for an hour, updating software, uninstalling any and all of additional gadgets (camera, battery monitor, wireless Apple car play . . . . . in short everything I can think of. Even had a chat with The Ionic Guy for feedback and/or suggestions. I'm still having issues, and looking for a fix. @@kindfish
Great Video. I had the same problem with my CX-5. Quick fix was to open the switch and hose it down with WD-40 worked fine till the new one arrived for replacement. THANKS
The crazy thing is that the 115V "presents" as 60V on BOTH pins. In the US, the smaller pin is the hot 120V line (black wire) and the larger one is neutral (white wire). I guess most appliances are happy to run with two 60V pins. I'm still afraid to try my Korean adapter!
Great tip unless you are one of the unlucky Ioniq 5 owners with a faulty USB plug that only works intermittently. That often makes using either AA or CarPlay a no go. Many dealer service departments won't replace the faulty part unless they observe the malfunction. Not Hyundai's best effort.
Planning a 5,000 mile trip in September... I look forward to making this happen... I've seen elsewhere that starting the charge on the app before plugging in is a more successful approach. We'll see.
Mold… I hear a child.. mold is not good for health. Get rid of the mold properly you might have to take out some drywall and replace and redo your tile and caulk and scrub your shower floor. 9 years later..
Thanks, it worked great. Very easy. At the autoparts store, they told me to use bulb grease on the contacts and to be sure not to touch the glass of the bulb with my skin.
I just bought a 2016 SV that should be eligible for a warranty upgrade, I'm really hoping everything goes smoothly! If I get results like this video shows I will be ecstatic.
@@Kyle_702 I calculated 65 miles as it's at 64% SoH, but I'll find out this weekend when I actually get it back. In my test drive it was showing 34 miles at 50%.
