They do work well. They hold 6 rounds. I was trying so many different slug it was quicker for me to single load these using my custom single shot tray i make.
Very cool. I’ve shot various air guns since the early 70’s as a kid. Everyone had the old Daisy BB rifle, and I couldn’t wait to get a real pellet gun. Never got one because by the age of 18, I had a couple pistols and rifles. Pellet guns for me sort of fell by the wayside and I wasn’t interested in “toy guns” anymore. My dad passed away in Canada in 2016 and I flew up there from Hawaii to deal with this depressing ordeal. My dad was my best friend. Always has been. I told the Canadian border agent that I would be in Canada for three months or so, while I fixed up the house and sold it. (I had no intention of ever leaving Canada and stayed 3 and a half years in dad’s old house.) Vancouver Island is beautiful and I was tired of Hawaii after 35 years of living there. I applied for Canadian citizenship but that meant I would have to go back to the states for 6 months while they did the paperwork. I knew I’d be rejected because of my age. The Canadian government doesn’t want a 52 year old American construction worker who’s not rich, and won’t live long enough to be of much use to them. So I just stayed illegally. Screw them. But I had a house and a huge back yard and missed shooting. Firearms are really hard to come by in Canada and communicating with the Canadian government was stupid at this point, so I got a Stoger air rifle in .22 cal. It came with a perfectly usable scope and me and a few friends had fun shooting it in my backyard range. The law up there is, any air-rifle over 500 fps is considered a deadly weapon and needs a license. Well, I’m again, not communicating with the government and my Stoger was advertised at 450 fps. Out the door with no paperwork. But I was hooked on pellet guns now. The ammo is cheap, you can do it in the yard, and they’re super accurate now. I sold dad’s house since money was running low and as soon as I did that, the government would steal the house and deport me. So I sold it to my neighbor and hopped a train to Washington. (Basically deported myself) And now here, I bought a couple pistols but going to the range is a real pain in the ass and super crowded and expensive. That’s why I’m watching videos on air guns. Researching air guns, I don’t want CO2 crap and nothing I need a scuba tank to charge. A simple break-barrel .22 is what I want and this Gamo 10x fusion is what I’m getting. It’s way better than my old Stoger single shot and I really like the style of your videos. Just to the point and sort of scientific yet humble. None of the cocky soldiers of fortune style crap, just a really cool guy having fun on his porch. Just subscribed and I promise I’ll never write another comment this long on your channel sir. Aloha from Washington. 🤙🏼
Sean, you post made my day. I am stoked that my videos have reach you in a positive way. I will get back to some break barrel action soon. The GAMO Fusion Gen3i is a great rifle and a lot of fun to shoot. Thank again for your post and I really enjoyed reading all of it. If I'm ever in Washington, I will look you up and we can go shooting! :-)
From what i can tell on the Oneleaf website is that the Eagle version can be bought with a 1.5X lens or a 2X lens. I not sure why someone would buy the Eagle version over the standard version.
I think I found it on eBay a could of years ago. I will be making a better version of the barrel band for the M3 and M4 soon. They will be available at www.backyardairguns.com.
got one on order 4X but would prefer 7 X lens CUZ i shoot 2" targets at 100 yards or more, or flies, digital zoom should be banned or only 2 - 3 steps on a 4K sensor
I thought you would never ask. :-) I'm going next week to EBR to shoot this rifle on the BinTac shooting team. When I get back, I have many special videos I'm going to do on this rifle.
GOOD AFTERNOON I'M FROM INDONESIA, TO PURCHASE THIS UNIT WHAT REQUIREMENTS DO YOU NEED IN ORDER TO ENTER INDONESIA, I'LL BE HAPPY IF YOU ANSWER THEM, THANK YOU!!!!
Yeah, I don't see a point in adjusting the regulator and all that stuff because you want to tune your gun so it shoots well. If you get it shooting 20-grain slugs at 1400 fps, sure, it will blast through a ton of wood, but it will shoot like a shotgun.
I agree. Plus anything over 1,100 fps you are breaking the sound barrier and it will be loud as hell. I don't shoot any ammo on the 22 cal AEA Challenger Pro under 33g because it is too powerful for the smaller ammo.
I love long-range shooting, and the AEA Challenger Pro seems perfect. If I can hit a 4-inch gong with my 30-foot-pound .22 JT's Airacuda Max at 150 yards, I can't imagine what I'll do with the AEA Challenger Pro! BTW your upgrades are sick!
impressive but I for sure wouldn't call that 4 out 5 hits. 2 was a miss, maybe it nicked it but the center of the shot was not within the circle. 5 was a miss, it hit the hanging ear, again center of shot was not within the circle.
@@backyardairguns wasn't about feelings. sorry if I hurt yours, maybe I should've worded it differently? If you had drawn the same size circle on a sheet of plywood, only 2 of the shots would have been inside the circle. It's just weird to call shots outside of the target area "hits"
@@Brianbri-nq3cc "hit" refers to a shot that successfully strikes the target area. The circle is the target area and the center-line of the projectile is the point of impact. Still makes it 2 out of 5. You are the only one that mentioned bullseye 🤡
@@satchguitar84 💡 The target is the GONG in which makes the light turn on when the GONG gets HIT💥😯 So please tell me/everyone how many times that the GONG was HIT making the light turn ON indicating a HIT on the GONG? Take your time because your education level will definitely show in your answer🤓🎤
I must be totally honest …. You have ruined me now , all I think about is big bore Airguns . As you know we can’t have a fork and spoon over here in the UK without a license …. I really fancy one of these or of course the Bintac MCAR …. I really want one 😢
I'm shooting it at 600 FPE out of the barrel. I'm not sure what that is at the end of 500 yards. I will have it back at the range next week and I will measure it using the FX True Ballistic chronograph. I think this rifle will take down an elephant at 500 yards! :-)
Video is great!!! I enjoyed watching it. With all respect, with that power and that kind of projectile... I don't think 1,000 yards is too far. I hate to nitpick, but I accurately shot a 25cm gong at 330+ yards with a .22 cal budget PCP rifle (Hatsan AT44-10, 35 FPE energy) and 23 and 25 grain H&N slugs, several times, in different conditions, in an open field. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iXE4d-IZQ7c.html
I have a video out on this rifle shooting 545 yards very accurate. I think it would do 1,000 yards, but I have no where to test that. I watched your video. Great job shooting 22 and 25 at 333 yards. Very impressive. I subscribed to your channel.
@@backyardairguns Thank you so much mate! Honestly, all of my shooting with that rifle at 300+ yards was successful only when the conditions were IDEAL. Of course, I'm thinking primarily of the wind. I follow you, keep it up. Many greetings from Serbia!
Mike nice nice shooting dude glad you did this other video on this gun. I wanted to really see how it shot long range. They keep saying it's competition but it's so huge and so I'm really excited are used to watch all your AEA challenger Pro 357 And had to get one you said they were super accurate and they are very in the future I'm going to be testing out a bunch of guns myself and getting into doing some contact you and all the other guys thanks !! Send it !! do you stretch it out before 420 with a one shot sign in that's freaking amazing I can't wait till I stretch it shooting Mike now I got a freaking go check the MCar out
I love you post on my channel. The MCAR is like no other air rifle I have shoot, and I've shot many. All the video of me shooting it 200, 300, 420, and 545 yards were the first time I've ever shot any rifle that far. And I only missed one shot out of all 20 shots (4 five-shot groups). That's Not because of me; it because this rifle hit whatever you aim at regardless of distance. I read your bio and subscribed to your channel. Good luck on future videos. You will do great. You can contact me anytime for help with airguns or creating video.
This rifle will not disappoint. I've never shot any rifle at 325, 420, 545 yards before, and this rifle does not miss. I will hit what you aim at regardless of distance. :-)
For what it's worth. The 350g Seneca slugs I was shooting so well actually weight about 337 to 340g. The same as the BinTac 337g slugs. 337 to 340g might be the sweet spot for this rifle. I will do more testing next week.
@@backyardairguns that's good info. That explains why they shoot at the same speeds as the 337's. That sweet spot at 337 could also be reg based. I'm gonna turn the reg up for the heavier weights when my MCAR comes in.
Great shooting! Can you explain your video aiming and shooting setup? In particular how you are using your monitor for aiming at the target. Thank you in advance.
I use an Induro carbon fiber tripod on the front that uses arca mount. I use a Saber Tactical Pro mono on the back. For the 100 yards shots I was using the Oneleaf NV400 digital 4K scope. It will send the output of the scope to a monitor. The setup works amazing on the bench. I have several videos on the NV400 scope. Thanks for the comments!
