From a boyhood dream to a reality...here, you will find all things industry related, from collection equipment, to processing & delivery sites. I try to provide children & truck enthusiasts alike a look into the Refuse Industry. I am a 21 yr veteran front end loader driver. If this is not for you, simply change the channel. Since the majority of my viewers are minors, I ask that all comments left are in respect of that fact. That being said, welcome & enjoy :-)
Worked for them briefly in ATL. Still trying to get back in the game in Las Vegas. Love ❤ your videos. Follow an ASL truck for the day. I drove for GFL ATLANTA-STOCKBRIDGE 😊 I drove a heil python with a mack body I think 😂
Sick, These pete Heil sierras look sharp. Glad republic went with pete instead of mack. love the front load comps that are far away from columbus. makes mw remember im not alone when it comes to filming. I did realize im the only garbage truck filmer which in columbus is unique. Have you ever thought about putting a beacon on the tailgate of your truck? it would give it a even more oldschool look. great comp as always
Great video brother. I really appreciate the shoutout. You can share the truck. I enjoy hearing your words of encouragement and motivation. Stay safe brother.
@@Treysen-gj1jq I'm thankful for my own truck, so I'd definitely have to say Heavy Betty. However, if there were a way to own Electric Blue for myself, I definitely would. That truck has the smoothest ride out of any that I have ever driven over the years.
@@CoolHandMacc Battle trucks have only been around for a year or two so I think it’ll be a good while before you find any used ones for sale if you were to buy one but for now at least Pratt has some. It seems those trucks are especially common where you live.
@@Treysen-gj1jq they were originally CCC, Crane carrier Company. When the supply chain debaucle was at its height, Mack and Peterbilt were back logged with orders. Battle Motors was able to fill orders that the bigger manufacturers couldn't meet. Their sells went up like crazy during that time.
@@CoolHandMacc That makes sense since it seems most battle trucks belong to private haulers. I could name a whole list of private haulers and municipalities that use Battle trucks but they’re rare among large haulers. Same with older CCC trucks.
@Treysen-gj1jq Battle has been around for a year? Everyone else here went to mack and or pete even with backlogs. Our 2 newest trucks out of the columbus shop are a MRU heil & Pete amrep. I digress I have not seen any battle motors here. they went to big truck rental and premier for a little bit before they got their 2 newest trucks in last year. GFL went with MRU heil and hey can't slam for shit according to a driver I've known for over a year. According to what I saw there are only 2 amreps running in goergia maybe more now. Our 520 we got last year and the one from Peachtree on the MRU
Speaking on the subject of motivation, I have run out of motivation. This week has been rough on me. Long story short, I don't do well with women at all. I had a female co-worker stare at me, and it made things awkward. I tried to introduce myself to cut the tension. She was acting weird around me one day, so I asked her if she was scared of me. I told her she could tell the safety officer that she was afraid of me and could call the police on me if she was that scared. I've had these issues with women in the past. I wound up transferring to another site a couple of days later to ease tensions and the blessing is my new site is giving me better work and more opportunities to practice on heavy equipment. But now I feel like a monster. Luckily no natural disasters in my area. Thought I'd share since you mentioned me motivating you.
@Opinionatedguy1989 it's funny how things like this can work out in our favor. I'm glad that the new site has more to offer you. I'll be praying that everything will continue to look up for you, brother.
I don't live too far from the chlorine plant in North Vancouver, and the refineries in Burnaby. Any one of those go up in flames, it would be a catastrophe for me. I'm only 10, maybe 15 miles away, and I have a small mountain shielding me. That 3rd can did not want to cooperate. How quickly did you run home, wash up and run to church? I know you religious folks need that word.
Glad you made it through the storm ok! So, just curious, how do you deal with cans filled with so much water after a storm like that? Just let it fill up inside the truck? Thanks, and God Bless!
