I just started having a problem with the key immobiliser in a 1999 ML430. I hope to remedy the problem using a cheap immobiliser bypass from ALi Express.
So after sliding down into a ditch avoiding a deer my 1997 Mercedes C230 won’t crank or start. I stick the key in and turn it and my horn starts beeping and I gotta immediately turn it back off. May it be a inertia reset switch or something of that nature? Man I’m at my wits end with this. Please help!
Can youhelp because my 99 c43 has the same issue No start motor not turning over . Key in ignition nothing happens only dash lights come on but I get a constant power to the yellow and pink or( light red) wire coming out of the back of the EIS
Hi Guys... I have a W202 C220. I washed my key and now my immo does not want to disarm. I have the red and green LEDs flashing on. My review mirror and I have to lock and unlock manually. The car cracks but won't start. Who can I fix this.
This is the same person but I’m using a different phone because it’s my husband’s phone I can tell it’s a real Henry because I can hear the echoing have you still got your Henry today or did it break
@@ΚαλλίτσηςΜιχάλης "Arici" velcro.
I had the red green red lights flashing in the mirror. I could crank but not start my petrol 1995 C220 W202. I thought it was an immobiliser issue. I finally found one comment on a Mercedes owners website- just one line that said "check your Over Voltage Protection (OVP) Relay". (relay in that silver box with the fuse next to OBD port). I did and that was it! That was my problem fixed! Easiest way to check the OVP is to remove the metal relay case and push the bottom relay with a plastic pen (with key in position 2) and you should hear the fuel pump and injectors come to life...and you can start your car. Order a new OVP relay (around $100) and you are good to go! I hope my post helps someone as this was a major, major issue for me and i hope I can save another W202 owner from all this heartache! I was about to junk my car and send it to the wreckers as no one - not even the MB Dealer could diagnose the fault!
@@aadne5992 Maybe try working it out gently with a screw driver. Sounds like it has corroded in there. Also it might be that someone has previously pulled off the case before. Once I got mine out it was quite difficult to separate the case from the relay. Now your case is off use something plastic to engage the relay and see if you can hear your fuel pump start or the injectors. If so, your relay is faulty and needs replacing. I carry a spare in my glovebox now all the time now.
@@camcrothers7216 thank you, i'll try it tomorrow morning. i did some digging and it turns out that this is the second or third time my car has had an immobiliser problem (it has an aftermarket one installed in the car and apparently that's the one that's gone bad (the stock one went bad and the aftermarket one was wired in to replace it) 😬 but i'll try the ovp anyways so thanks!!
@@camcrothers7216 Hi I have Benz e320 1997 I recently try to change my key case and am the card key wouldn’t fit on the new case that I bought so I decided to keep the old so I put card back in next day in morning car crank but no start I check it every thing works fine I can here the fuel pump works fine there is electric come to the coils everything ok no issues with fuel or electric 🙄 but wouldn’t start At the first the key weren’t lock or unlock so I disconnected the battery terminal just kind to rest everything key back to normal lock and unlocked But still car wouldn’t start 😞 any help?
I was Mother fucking moto machnic instricter very educater bastarted but cant understand you bro...cut the wire show and teach...pl dont be happy teaching yourealf....anyway i thanke you..😬😁
I have the same green and white wire but cant see in your video how to bypass I dont see the yellow and red wire or alarm module on 96 e320 i see only immo with two plugs one with white wire and green wire in thick rubber harness can you email the bypass
I think Mercedes original immo ( the other black box ) cuts the ground to the ignition coil. The aftermarket alarm does the same thing after the immo. They are connected in series to coil ground I think. When he remover the alarm and connects 2 green wires the alarm is bypassed but immobilizer still works. I will try to disable immo on my s600 after month. Wish me luck :D
How did you get the ashtray out? I'm trying to get at the usb port to add a new socket but I just can't get the panel off around the ashtray. The top comes out a bit but bottom is so tight and doesn't move...
Hello man i have the exact problem create explanation!!! Them 4 wires that was cut connect the 2 boxes up aswell is that correct...? Purple/black-- and yellow/red
I put switches on each wire so i found what works and what didn't...i think iam just going to replace the immobilizer with a new one...i think someones already tried doing something to it anyway...
@@lupuization hello man i fixed it....its the mirror and a fault i swapped the old one with a new one and it works now!!! Finally...i put the wires back together aswell...it was the mirror!!!
This only applies to the early c class models, I've got a c270cdi from 2002 and under the footwell it is nothing like this, there is only a Siemens black box, not silver, therefore I still need to bypass the immobilizer and can't find anything about it.
True, that video is for the W202 series before the face-lift. They were fitted with a FBS2a Immobilizer system. Your model C270CDI which is a W203, is fitted with a FBS3 system according to (ecu.eu/immobiliser-systems-mercedes-benz-60.htm). This website says that the FBS3 (EIS/EZS) is actually the Immobolizer. For interest sake, what does your car do / behave to say or think that it has an Immo issue?
I think what he did was to bypass the alarm module. Probably the alarm module failed and that's why the car wasn't starting. He did not bypassed the immobilizer so I think it still requires to unlock it before he can start it.
I so hope people don't go and seemingly cut off wires without knowing what they are! This can only be a useless video as it doesn't explain why this worked
Seem to help some people...iam doing it this very second i managed it...its the yellow/red and purple black wires...these wires have 2 colours...your basically stopping 2 wires going into each box thats how i worked it out...thanks to this video i took screen shots and zoomed in to get what he was saying....he explains well i think
This has nothing to do with the immobiliser. You disable the DAS 1 immobilizer by unlocking the car via remote, which he did. It's not as simple as cutting 2 wires unforunately..
Does someone knows what P1 search means? It kills the radio and to listen again I have to move to Next Chanel to listen again. This message appears on the central console screen when I listening radio and I press a certain button. I believe press and hold the ^OFF. What is P1 search? Please help
Where on the passenger side? Coz I only found one silver box and the small black on. The one with two connectors with many wires, where u cut two wires from, I cannot find it
So I have the same car except left hand steering.. my question is, is that this can do no harm to the car even if the bypass procedure is done correctly and dosent work?
Can you send me that email to help because my 99c43 has the same issue No start motor not turning over . Key in ignition nothing happens only dash lights come on but I get a constant power to the yellow and pink or( light red) wire coming out of the back of the EIS
