@glenmaise8184 Slide hammers do not work for me when aluminum hubs hold the wheel bearings. I tried them on a couple previous Explorer repairs and the only thing I got was sore hands.
@jixxxerrr Yes, this one was the worst I have had. We have owned 3 Police Explorers and they are all a pain. 3 bolts jacking that bearing out sure helps!!
Hey Chris, Can I get a copy of your tune...I'm running the same cam and shorty headers...I can't get it to run without throwing codes. I'm just learning a little about tunning. I'm three hours away from the nearest tuner up here in Canada.
22:50 my magnum is doing that off idle it almost feels like a flat spot in a old carbed car its only off idle like leaving the driveway or a stop sign the car is still being tuned by my tuner
@SilentStorm21 Check my video on throttle body airflow - check the TB voltage on your ride where the lag is happening and go into TB airflow and TB airflow Small Range - reduce the numbers by 5% or whatever my video showed. Test and see if that helps. This tells the computer the TB is smaller in that range so it opens the blades up more.

Great video. I’m trying to learn how to tune Hemi cars. Just getting into HP tuners and trying to learn all I can before I start trying to mess with mine. If possible could I also get a copy of this tune and do you think this would also be similar for a 6.1 car? I have both a 5.7 magnum and 6.1 SRT charger. Both nag1 cars.

Is there any way to remove the auto up shift when in manual mode? It doesn’t happen often but sometimes it will up shift to the next gear once I’m in the higher rpm’s I have a 8hp70
I am not sure on that one. Maybe increase the shift rpm for the gear you want to stay in while in the manual mode shift settings. Just a guess. Let me know what you figure out!
@TimothyStillwell, yes there is a lot missing from that series of books. There is more information in HPTuners forums on engine tuning at least. I just got my supercharger + camshaft tune done for my 5.7 Hemi and most of the information was from HPT forums.
Is there a way to adjust my transmission to stay in 4th gear until around 50 mph this car wants to shift straight to 5 gear around 35 or 40 mph I live in an area with a lot of hills it’s never flat I want it to stay in 4th till 50 mph
Always run the highest octane you can, but if you have to buy garbage gas the knock sensors will pull timing when they detect knock or pre-ignition. This tune is not setup for 93 octane only, this car is street driven and garbage gas is out there.
great information. you seem well versed and knowledable about the mopar and hptuners... could this tune translate to a 2016 challenger 5.7 with 8sp auto? I may email you and see if you can do something with my base read if youre able.
Where the metal opens up for the carburetor can a 90 ° elbow. Look up the mustang Victor Sr. For the fuel . Called the Victor Senior Spyder will give you all the room for the super Charger.
Sorry old video but I’m swapping my v6 to a v8, and I’m under the impression I can get away with just swapping the engine harness, and not the chassis harness. What are your thoughts?

@@mud4x Sorry bud, I don't recall what TDN is? With those mods I would pickup a wideband and tune for WOT 12.5 AFR. Start there and with all those mods you will be very happy with the 8.1's response.
I have a 2013 crysler srt8 whit the 392 Just did the swap to the hellcat engine and supercharger but kept my 5 speed Now i need a tune but never tuned a car i do have the DIABLOSPORT tuner any suggestion would help
just found this out an did it is it gonna mess anything up? there's also another fuse that has sumthin to do with awd should i take both out or just the one
