I would remodel your bathroom the way you want even if it costs more money. It will be worth it in the end. Beautiful tile.. Beautiful stitching and finishes. You remind me of my daughter's mother -in-law, you would pass as sisters. Same dark hair, color of lip stick, tone in your voice. Can't wait to see your progress on your WIPs.
Hi Shelley! I enjoyed stitching with you this morning. The Christmas book is so lovely, will be going out to get that. Great progress! Thank you for sharing!
New bathroom, how exciting!!!! Always messy but so worth it in the end. Your stitching is beautiful as always. I know you'll miss Kim but changing job can be stressful, too. I'm sure it will be better when you get more help and get her trained. Love and Hugs!!!
Thank You now I have a good way to start those blended thread and single thread projects I have been avoiding because they are unpleasant to start the threads for
Hello my friend!!! I finally got the time to watch your video. I put it on my watchlist when it first came out. You know I love all your projects!!! I wish I had those Shannon Christine ornaments stitched. They are beyond cute.Your hair looks so good, that is a great cut.I can't believe how much you. get stitched working full time. Love and Hugs!!!!
Shelley, hello! I just found your floss tube. I live in the Shoals too. I’ve been a stitcher/quilter for years, owning a shop for years in Mississippi. Do you stitch with any local ladies? Would like to join in sometime. Jan Masters
Hi, Jan! I’m so glad you found me. Yes, we have a meeting this Saturday 3/2/24 starting at 10:00 at Calico Rose Quilt Shop on Darby Drive in Florence. We meet the first Saturday of every month. Our Facebook page is Serenity Stitchers of the Shoals.
Good luck on the job. However, I would not discuss this until the end result is all said and done. As a hiring manager this would be a concern. Yes hiring managers will do searches on social media. Just a helpful tip.
Hi Shelley…just found you. I am from the Shoals…now living in MS. We are in the Shoals quite often. If your stitch group meeting coincides with our travels, I would love to join you. And am also interested in the Huntsville Retreat.
I hope you’re able to make our group meeting soon! Are you a member of North Alabama Stitchers group on Facebook? That’s where the info on the retreat is posted.
I’m loving all the variety in your projects, just beautiful!!!! I don’t know who did the charts with the roses in your French book/magazine but she is definitely our soul sister!!!!! I hope to see you soon. Love and hugs!!!!
Your plans for 2024 sound like a lot of fun, and very productive! I love seeing the varied cross stitch and other projects you have. Looking forward to seeing you achieve those finishes! Beautiful patterns in that new book. Happy stitching!
Love that quilt behind you! I agree that WIP Warriors will help us get a lot done on our WIPs this year, and it’s a lot of fun! Hope to see you soon! Hugs-Lorraine
Oh my goodness! It was so good to finally catch up with you! It is such a pleasure to see your beautiful stitching! I think you'll do a great job with your plans this year! 💝
The Etchings fabric is beautiful. I think I got a piece in a scrap bag. Well, I think I did that piece last year 😮. I look forward to seeing your stitching in 24. ❤❤
Thanks for sharing your plans for 2024. I'm still thinking about what I want to accomplish...I usually choose a few things to focus on and then modify my plans as new releases happen or I get motivated to finish a WIP I hadn't thought I would want to spend that much time on, all mixed in with Magazine Monthly Challenge and SALs from my local stitching group. Nut I am penciling in things in my 2024 planner. Have a very Merry Christmas, and I hope your eye is doing better!
It sounds like you’re having fun with your Crosstitch. I hate that you’re having eye issues, I understand exactly what you’re going through. I hope that it gets better very quickly. Love your pieces.
Yay on the fall piece!!!! You know I love it. Big plans for ‘24. You can do it all. 🙃 I hope your eye is better soon!!!! When your eyes are messed up it really affects everything. Love and hugs!!!!
Your Jane Eyre is looking great, and now I have to check out the stitching book club to see all of the patterns! Thanks for the discussion on The Stitchery database, as like many people I could really use a way to better organize my 'collection'. Looking forward to seeing your WIP parade, as I love your projects.
Your projects are all so pretty! I'd hate to try to pick a favorite. You hit the Pride and Prejudice motherlode. I love that fabric and the bag panel!!!!!! 🤩 Is that apron panel a Lori Holt design? I love wearing aprons when I'm canning, not a daily thing but for an all day canning session give me a big ole granny apron. 🤣 Hope to see you soon, Love and Hugs😍😍😍
Your quilt is a fantastic backdrop for this video! Your approach to organizing is very thorough and inspired me to improve my approach to my stitching supplies.
This is my first visit and I am so impressed. Your stitching has such variety and is so even. Yes, I am a goal oriented stitcher too…I was always goal oriented before but even more now that I started doing flosstubes. Like you my quilting is taking a secondary role to my stitching this fall.
