Love your video the romper turned out so beautiful !! <3 Just a quick question though, I was wondering how you managed to weave in your ends with this gauge? Bc I'm currently knitting a sweater with a very loose gauge and I can't figure out how to weave in my ends as they always seem to be visible on the other side + they don't seem very secure so idk what to do :")
that’s such a good question! I go into it kinda knowing already that it might look a little messy I just make sure to leave long tails so if a tail does end up popping out I can tuck it back in or trim it :) i usually end up doing “duplicate stitching” so it blends in a bit better and also one last tip if you’re using wool you can felt in your ends with a felling needle so the fibers stick to each other (here’s a video to demonstrate: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EtOB-PzNu18.htmlsi=Kw8UiGnNTH2XgrD2) the looser gauge will look messy no matter what just due to the tension being impossible to stay even! hope this helps :)
your genius mind!!! also for the back my first thought was a single crochet edge around the opening? It might tighten it up a bit and also emphasizes the circular shape by cleaning up the edge
Oh wow, super early. Absolutely love the texture the yarn and needle size created. The pattern and color is so perfect for summer! I need to explore my yarn stash bc i need to make this now. Thank you!
you should give it a go if you like it!! :) the best part of making your own clothes is that you can adjust it to your liking 💕 good luck if you do try it out!
yes! I love the libby app so much. I'm kinda late on this video, but I finally have time to watch a bunch of youtube again so I've been binging your videos! I'm always impressed with and creatively inspired by your content, creations, and thoughts. it's so cool to see how your channel has grown :)
I feel that!! I have such a loooong list in my “watch later” right now waiting for a rainy day to binge everything haha thanks so much for watching and commenting!! have a great day 💕
That’s so cool that you’re spinning yarn! If you get a cat he would be all over that yarn! 😂 you look so beautiful in those overalls! 😊 awesome job on this video!
So fun Kait! I think you will like dyeing yarn! I just dyed my first batch two weeks ago and it is magical to play with. I am also considering buying a spindle and this just is the last drop to convince me to try spinning :).
i’d love to make a cooking vid some sorts! i haven’t been trying many new recipes so I haven’t been as excited about cooking but your comment is inspiring me !
