Ahh thank you! It’s a favorite find of mine for sure. It is vintage! I got it from an estate sale. But I did link a similar headboard on Etsy in our description!
Love it all..... except the original nightstand with its gorgeous styling and marble were so much richer looking. The mural is the game changer for sure.
Thank you so much! I loooove our old nightstands, but they competed too much with the headboard - definitely going to find another spot for them in our home!
Hello I just discovered your channel yesterday and I'm sure you've been asked this a thousand times but wherever did you find that headboard it's stunning!
Awh we’re so glad you found us!!!🤍 the headboard was a vintage find from an estate sale, but I linked a similar headboard in our description that’s on Etsy!!
You have to be joking…the ruffled lamp shade I did for my granddaughter’s room 24 years ago. I did it in pink striped material and it sure didn’t look so homemade.
You have so many beAUTiful pieces in your bedroom! Have you ever considered adding moldings/boiserie to the walls? The richness they add would complement your ornate furniture and minimize the modern look of the box itself. Also, I would suggest styling the Corinthian column capitals the way they would appear in architecture, wider side up.
Thank you so much!!! We would love to add molding eventually and also a ceiling medallion with a light fixture, it just wasn’t in the budget this time around! Such a great idea though! The column capitals actually have a hole underneath and are hollow so flipping them around wouldn’t work!😢
I live next to Brimfield, Massachusetts. Yes it is a wonderful antique market.we used to see dealers from the west stocking up on our really old itims, taking them to Calif and other places. I resented that harvesting of New England antiques. But today most of real old is far and hard to find. Kindness, humour is the best to sell our treasures.
You have a great eye for lovely things, but you could have added a chair rail and lifted your mural, it’s covered by that gorgeous bed, and although the plinths you replaced your nightstands with are beautiful , you have no where for a glass of water , phone or book. I think gold curtain rods would have looked great, especially thin ones with curtain ring clips……anyways happy nesting & treasure hunting!
I like your ideas!! I have a cubby under our bed for our books/glasses/etc - you’re right, function & beauty should go hand in hand! Thanks for watching 😊
Yes I looove those end tables! They just didn’t work in this room since they were competing with the headboard - excited to find another home for them!
I agree with you… These two are absolute naturals, and I love their design ideas and I just love their heart! I like that their style doesn’t look like everybody else’s!
@@tezorihome i subscribe to your channel and its totally awesome. We just built a house up the mountains and im trying to get ideas, so this really helps me. I'm an artist I paint so ill be hanging some of my art in some of the walls. Thank you for a wonderful viewing of your friends house.
My other half of 40 years and I love Brimfield! We have found many amazing things over the past 37, which is how long we have been going. I have subscribed to your channel and will look forward to watching your wonderful, youthful adventures! 🫶🏻🥰
Nothing better than antiquing in the Hudson Valley. My brother-in-law has an antique restoration business in Hudson. Hudson might be the antique capital of the world. That’s all Warren Street is. Except for some really nice cafés and restaurants. Next time you’re in the area you should try Farmer and Sons near the train station. Fabulous. Almost everybody that works there graduated from the CIA. My nephew in law is the general manager and head cocktail inventor.
