Bad thing is the builder has raised the price on a 1900 sq. ft. townhouse by nearly 100 grand in just 3 months. It's insane that anyone would buy knowing that but I suppose they are desperate.

I've never lived in Frederick myself, but my mother did and I spent so many weekends there. I miss the area, but I don't think I'll ever have the money or job skills to move there. A cousin of mine still owns the house my mother used to live in, but gaaaah. I miss it.
How long is the average commute from Frederick to DC? I understand it depends on the time, traffic, day, etc.. I’m only looking for average time during the normal work week. Thank you!

Most desirable community in Frederick - Spring Ridge, southeast side, no city traffic/taxes. Grocery/shopping/gas/repair/great community/history. Great distance to/from DC. Small town feel if you're looking for it. Negatives for Frederick, Interstate 270 traffic but that's good/bad per DC commute and cheaper to live here, not cheap though.
