Also what are the chances of me being able to find part-time work as a PTA in California (not traveling, at one location)? Is it common? uncommon? Totally unlikely?
Thank you so much for all this info! You guys are awesome! I do have a question though. Let's say hypothetically I’m a PTA who only wants to work a portion of the year (as a travel PTA). Would agencies be ok accommodating that? Or would they prefer someone who works all year?
I was going to order this thermostat but I cancelled because in the product description is says for 240V. I have 12 V DC in my thermostat in my Rv. I am confused by this
Great question! Both of us were 24 years old when we started traveling. Megan was 26 years old when we had our first daughter and 28 yo when we had our second daughter.
I'm currently trying to remove my rotten wall, but keep the foam insulation just as you did. Was getting the wood off of the foam tedious for you? It's proving to be very tedious for me. Do you have any tips to make it easier?
Awesome, vinyl flooring for shower walls, great idea, i may do the same for both my vintage RV remodeling project for the bathroom and the other newer RV i just gotten to clean up, remodel a bit and ready to move into so I'll have some bit of extra time to work on the 87 vintage 5th Wheel RV while living in the other 😉👍love it 🤗
hi ryan and megan I am Mandy, I have been blind all of my life. Is there anything to do for the visually impaired where you guys are at. and at top of the rock?
Excellent video. I think you were actually in Wire Pass Canyon until the "T" where the petroglyphs were. Then you have the option to go up(left) or down(right) Buckskin Gulch. The first time I did this, many years ago, the drop at the ladder was only about 4 feet. The last time I did it, it was about 8 feet or so but no ladder yet. Good find on the petroglyphs. It seems many people have trouble finding them.
thank you for this video! i am about to start my second year of PT school and really want to do travel PT right after school to pay off this debt QUICKLY and this travel bug is getting out of hand 😂
Hello! I’m a PTA and have been in the job field for 2yrs. Looking to get into travel PT. What recruiter did you guys use? There are countless recommendations on the web but hard telling good from bad
@@brianmillette7453 no my mom paid off the house before she passed. I moved in to take care of her. Bills in my name for utilities and I pay the property taxes.
I love seeing a new post from you. Folks, Ryan and Megan have helped me personally get connected to the traveling recruiters for speech therapy. They are so helpful and knowledgeable. Please help spread the word. So grateful for you guys❤
Thank you so much for sharing the websites and resources/groups for finding places to stay! This has made my rooming options for my first travel therapy project so much more simple. Hope you all are having a great time in your adventures :)
What are the biggest draw backs for being a new grad doing travel therapy? Also do clinics/hospitals ever hire travel workers to a full time position? Thanks for sharing your experience guys !
Drawbacks we see are if you don't like constant change or if you want to get a clinical specialist. Residency programs or a organized mentorship program would be best at a permanent position. Clinics and hospitals always are willing to hire travelers to full time if you're interested. The reason they need to hire a traveler is usually because they have a need for a therapist full time!
Omg does anyone ever consider this is EVERY industry right now?! Why does everyone act like they are the only ones strugggling. How tone deaf is everyone nowadays? My lord.
