As someone who was diagnosed with prostate cancer about two and a half years ago, I am curious to know what his cancer measured on the Gleason scale, what his PSA was at the time he was diagnosed, what stage the cancer was revealed when Boggs did his PET scan, and if his prostate was enlarged. With that, it’s important to know if the cancer has spread or originated within the prostate. These impertinent questions will lead to the best way to treat his situation. If his Gleason rating is high, as mine was, then he must overdo radical prostatectomy surgery, but even that will not be the end of it because when the prostate is removed, then there is a great chance that the tissue left behind still has microscopic cancer cells that will only be undetected for a short time. There is further possible treatment required, as what I am going through right now. I wish Boggs well, and wish I more about his condition and an opportunity to speak with him so that I can explain to him what to expect and to refer him to my urologist. I do wish Boggs the best.
