Hi there. I'm Mellow, a videographer and roller skater. This channel is the place where I'll be combining these two passions and creating premium skate content - documenting the skate community and culture, collaborating with other skaters and creatives as well as sharing my personal skate journey. Join me as I delve deeper into the culture, learn new moves, find new locations and meet some amazing skaters. ✌🏽🛼 🌍
❤ this!!! Have to say I’m proud of myself to see how I’ve progressed.. head up at last!! But so much of this is a big thank you to you Mellow. An incredible and inspirational teacher 🙏🏼🛼❤
Thank you! It was a fun video to put together and to kick-start my RU-vid journey. Also glad you like the music; it took a while to find, but very happy with it 🎶
Nice! Hope you had a good session and enjoyed the feeling of having the wheels strapped to your feet! Having a background in skateboarding should give you some good balance and confidence to get up and running quickly! Enjoy 🙌🏽 🛼
Thanks, glad you liked the video. The Barbican is a great filming location. Every time I go there I always see some sort of film or video shoot happening! 🎥
Been skating, but not as much as I would like. I need to get back into being super regular. I've not been to Hyde Park in a while but I will swing by soon for sure ✌🏽
There are quite a few elements to smooth and controlled or graceful skating. Some of these include using your whole body: shoulders, hips, head, arms, as well as your feet. Perfecting balance transfer, always keeping your knees soft (the bounce) and being aware of your posture. Taking lessons or a course can be a good way to work on these, or ask other advanced skaters whose style you like for tips. I’m working on several tutorial videos over the next few months for a new rollout over the new year. Some of these might be useful as they will cover these ideas. So stay tuned 🛼🎥 ✌🏽
