Emergency Contact is the one that caught my attention first in this video. I won't continue with The Truly Devious series, especially the fact that there were more books in the series and Truly Devious was meh. I remember Joce (squibblesreads) pointed out that you liked Warcross and I remember how much you love it back then. I didn't like Sadie as a dark contemporary/thriller. I like Shadow & Bone more than Six Of Crows. I 💞 Verity. I don't think I am one of those girlies. 🤣
ı wanted to buy and read most of this book when they were popular but I didn't they usually more expensive and I don't have that type of money to "fun reads" as I call it. Now looking back to it I have lost interest too... Still, I would read the ones that maybe I think I would like ıf they are given to me or I find it at a library. Long story short it better not to be shopping maniac ıf you don't have the money, you will lose interest anyway( booktok or booktube recs)
How would you like to read a book that you will read again and again for the rest of your life? Be inspired. Battle The Beast The night came quicker than usual, as it caught me by surprise Before I found some shelter, the darkness dimmed my eyes My panicked heart was racing, my legs instinctively took flight I aimlessly ran in circles, in the horror of blackest night In the distance I could hear it, the sound of a terrible beast I could hear its claws scratching, I could see the flash of its teeth There was no way to outrun it, for it traveled on all fours So, faced with just one prospect, I turned and faced the noise The blade I held, had a faint sparkle illumined by distant stars The beast knew I would use it, as it stalked me from afar My wait drug on for an eternity, as I firmly stood my ground But soon it would be over, for I heard approaching sounds Throughout my life, I purposely planned, to never travel at night It was the only way to miss the beast and avoid a deadly fight Yet, life has a sense of justice, not willing to let me cheat those plans From facing the beast who stalks me, from facing what haunts a man A silhouette sprang out of the blackness, striking hard the first blow I vollied back with the tip of my blade, causing the beast to moan Collapsing together, mortally wounded, the dawn began to break I saw the beast that had attacked me, it was myself, in whom I faced Battle The Beast By William Cooper From the book, Coop's Corner Collection Inspirational Stories and Poems Check out the first poem, (Lisa Moo Moo Marie) turned into a country song. Yoooo do you need somewhere to offload the Six of Crows duology? 👀Real talk, I need to clean up my book collection. I know I have some I bought, but haven't actually read yet.
OMG! The way I really understand you in the Colleen Hoover ERA you were in..this is so relatable istg. I remember buying all her books in 2019 when I first started reading and ISTG I GAVE LIKE ALL HER BOOKS 4 AND 5 STARS!! The Malak(my name) I am today really want to reread all her books with my new age and perspectives in life. I just know that her books and writing style really won't get along with me..😂😂 I'll never get over how I once upon a time said that "Colleen Hoover is my forever favorite author." After i have read from other authors that can actually write...omg... I realized how young and a beginner I was.😂🤌🏽
This is why I utilized my local library. I can borrow books and decide if I absolutely LOVE it, then I'll go out and purchase a physical copy, otherwise I'll return it and it won't sit on my shelf. 🤣
i just started the first book of farseer trilogy and already love the writing and vibes. personally i'm a standalone person but can't wait to read all 16 books in the elderling series. def see a new fave author on the horizon.
I love how Warcross didn't need a summary because everyone knows about it 🤣 I feel like I'm having flashbacks to Booktube circa 2012-2017. What a time to be alive.
There's no better motivator to unhauling than imagining the sheer amount of books you'd have to pack up if you ever have to move 😅 Excellent unhaul! Also, I noticed The Books of Babel behind you. Love to see it!
Omg when you said dead name I was confused for a second. I’ve been following you for years! You are so completely Ellias that I totally forgot. Much love to you! ❤
This is exactly why, for me, transitioning to an e-reader has been a forever game changer as a mood reader. I used to carefully pick physical books because foreign books from SEA regions are so damn expensive but even with this, I still get disinterested fairly quick so for practicality (financial and space wise), I just donated all of them and only kept 1 book lol
@@macgregorlinsley8317 it’s a running joke but it’s okay. I have soo many wrap ups, recent reads, and the vlogs where I talk about the books I’ve read you can check out tho! 😇
Of all the stupid people I've seen on RU-vid talking crap, your ignorance is inexcusable. There is absolutely nothing to be gained in anything you say. As Americans, you show what you know and that's what's wrong with this. There is no textual analysis or attempt to be intelligent in your comments. Why don't you ask the question...'why don't his parents object to their 17-year-old son, on the verge of going to university, having a loving experience with a 24-year-old guy?' Americans obsession with teenage girls in porn causes less angst than two bisexual guys discovering love, is ONE of the things that makes me sick about the USA.
