Welcome to my RU-vid channel! Thanks for spending some time we me. I am knitter and knitwear designer in Surrey England. Join me for my knitting podcast and tutorials! Ami
I’ve really enjoyed knitting the Maybury cardigan could you tell me have you steam blocked the cardigan. As fisherman’s rib is so stretchy I’m not nervous as to whether to block. I’ve knit in Drops fine merino. Thank you
Lovely designs. I am in the process knitting your Maybury cardigan and loving it.The pattern is easy to follow and the tick sheet is brilliant. Thank you
Very enjoyable podcast - all the crafts I enjoy and your yarn is gorgeous. Thank you for showing how the yarn knits up - I wish more yarn dyers did this.
Hi Ami, I’ve been wondering about your rosebushes in the barrels. Did you order them bare root or did you get them in pots? I live in North Carolina in the USA. I’ve had roses before, but I have never bought David Austin roses. I would super appreciate any tips you have. My husband and I will be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary this year and I think roses would be perfect. Appreciate your help so much.
Oh my goodness - so many, many incredibly lovely things in this podcast! Thank you for all the delicious eye candy and wonderful inspiration! Enjoy the rest of your summer!
So happy to see you! Ok, here’s a book idea for you and your sister. It’s called Three Skeins of Caledonia Blue by by Elizabeth Duvivier. Id love to hear your thoughts and see if you decide to produce a color way. Thanks for another fun episode.
So excited to see you again! I was just thinking about you yesterday. I was considering crocheting on my granny striped blanket again. I’ll definitely be looking for tension change. Thank you for the tip. This episode was such a joy to watch! I think my favorite thing is your knitted quilt. It is stunning and so is your new sweater design and everything else😂💕. It is so good to see you doing well and I hope you and your lovely family have a wonderful summer!🌸🌸🌸☀️☀️☀️
Wonderful to see you back here on RU-vid the audio is somewhat inaudible and I could not determine the name of your new sock machine I would like to have one myself as always your videos are as adorable as you
So lovely to see you Ami, love all the yarn and fabric your dress is going to look amazing, I also love roses and hydrangeas the roses have been glorious this year xx
So happy to have you back. Absolutely love your aesthetic 🩷 Had some issues with sound on your video but thankfully as you are softly spoken it wasn't unbearable 😘
have you ever worked in the round? if so, how do you work the round AFTER the increase? Doesn't it spoil the ribbing if you work it as knit-purl-knit instead of picking right up with the knit below or purl below again?
The first time I tried this I did the setup round and started the pattern, and I got all these dropped stitches! So I started over and did the K1/P1 round twice, and then it was fine. Thank you.
Totally get what you mean about computer games! I dread to think how much time my partner has ‘wasted’ playing his games 😂 I obviously need to read the book! 😊 Love your dress 👗 x
I can’t wait to see your Wellsbury with the autumnal peaches! I’m joining your kal. Can you have multiple entries per month? ❤ You’re gorgeous, as always. 💋
Howdy Ami! Great to see you back 😁as ever your podcast visit beautiful. Like the sock challenge. I promised my husband a pair of socks for work in navy 🫣this is a KAL that will inspire completion.
I’m watching this while knitting your Fordingbridge trainer socks (and it’s my first time knitting two at a time on magic loop so I avoid second sock syndrome!)
Absolutely gorgeous sweater and its lovely to see you back again. I'm not a sock knitter, I just love knitting shawls and garments (sweaters mostly) so won't be participating in your KAL. I loved your 2023 advent and I'm making the Daft Days cardigan with it. ❤
I feel like I've been waiting forever for a new video from you!!! So happy right now!!! Happy New Year to you and your family. 💖💕 Everything you create is stunningly Beautiful. 💙
