oooh i love this video again! 😍😍😍 I really love you're knitting projects. So bautiful pinky colours. I looking forward to see more and to buy patterns from you. Love it! 😘😘😘😘
Totally get what you mean about computer games! I dread to think how much time my partner has ‘wasted’ playing his games 😂 I obviously need to read the book! 😊 Love your dress 👗 x
Lovely episode, I think the Arconia sweater might be the answer to a pair of very gen z jeans I bought last year but don't know how to style 😂 can't do a french tuck to save my life
I love Tomorrow x3 so much! I agree the writing is so very good. I love the Shakespeare references throughout the novel (including the title) and the characters are so memorable. Everyone in my family is reading it, including my son.
Oh Ami the knits are so beautiful and beautiful colours. Loved your dress, it looks brilliant on you. Looking forward to the cardy pattern being ready .Sandy's bag looks gorgeous.
Hi Ami, have you read Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus? I'm quite a fast reader but am trying to slow down because I don't want it to finish! I'd strongly recommend it.
Really enjoy this Amy 😁🙏. I adored your dress 😍. Would it have been possible to omit the zip, with it being a knit fabric.. Just a thought if you make another 🤔. It might not have had enough stretch but definitely a thought if you make another 👍. The books sounds amazing and so interesting. Always such a variety in your videos Amy... thanks for the wonderful content 😁💖🤗😘
That dress is Devine and you look radiant in it. I just love how sewers can make breath-taking clothes to wear, so much better than what can be found in the shops. All the knits are glorious too, what knit would you pair with the dress if you had to choose?
Hello, lovely to see you. I love your makes and the dress is stunning. Now that you have recommended books I am off to have a look because I read 'Educated' recently on your good review and I loved it.
I always find your videos so inspiring Ami! The Looshkin books sound great, I'm going to order one for Eric to try :) I love all the pink yarns and cardigans too 😍
I’ve really enjoyed knitting the Maybury cardigan could you tell me have you steam blocked the cardigan. As fisherman’s rib is so stretchy I’m not nervous as to whether to block. I’ve knit in Drops fine merino. Thank you
I find it interesting that dress designers seem to take styles that were 20, 30even 50 years ago and recreate the same styles for today. I do remember the same "Vampire dress" being worn in the 1970s. Ruffled sleeve cuffs and ruffled hems. There was a skirt I remember sewing and it had 4 tiers of ruffled sections and each section was a different print. Do you remember Gunne Sax by Jessica McClintock? She used lace, gingham, and calicos, a very American prairie look with lacing up the sleeve and bodice. Those features can be traced back to Victorian and Edwardian times. As they say, there is nothing new in storylines, and there's nothing new in clothing designs. 🤭😕 Isn't it wonderful how fabric choices have improved over the last 5 decades, knits, linens, and even simple cotton is lightyears improved. Anyway, loved your vlog, and seeing all that you've been making, reading, and all the fun things coming up for the shop. Well until the next vlog, I'll see you on Instagram. Bye, for now, ~ Hugs Lacy xo PS. I signed up on YarnPond for testing your beautiful cardigan. Fingers crossed 🤞
The colour and design of your cardi s are gorgeous. I loved your silver dress. The volume of your vlogs are always low, even on my maximum volume.I either have to watch them with subtitles or use ear pods.Does anyone else have this problem or is it just my device?. Anyway it does not distract from my enjoyment of your vlogs.
