@@NorthernExposure1 we had a long list of towns\villages to look at and get a feeling for and I can honestly say the only place off the list is Ferryhill. We really liked Crook,Spennymore and Wilton le Wear is really lovely but out of our budget. You are so right about the North East and I can't believe what you get for your money, it will be like living in holiday destination for us. If I see you out on a filming trip I'm going to get you a nice pint, your trips have been fantastic for us to have a look round. Cheers Danny
@@HW-op7pq I’ll take you up on that, mate!! Yeah, Ferryhill isn’t my cup of tea. Spennymoor is up and coming, it’s getting some regeneration money, and there’s some really decent independent businesses popping up, house prices are very affordable. Bishop too has a lot to offer. I only live a couple of miles from Crook, and it’s a good place to be I think, small town, close to Weardale, Bishop, close enough to Durham etc I think east Durham is a bit more down at heel. I saw some incredible houses in places like Stanley and Annfield Plain which makes you think! There’s not many places I wouldn’t live to be honest. It’s so much cheaper than where I moved from! Even cheaper for you!
