Jarrett Bay Boatworks, a premier builder of custom sport fishing boats, began in 1986 when Randy Ramsey led the construction of a single 52-foot charter boat, the Sensation, in an old tin shed. Since those humble beginnings, Jarrett Bay has constructed & delivered over 85 sport fishing boats and serviced tens of thousands of vessels. Our one-of-a-kind custom construction process allows us to finely balance our customers' needs for fishing performance, fuel efficiency and luxury -- all while never sacrificing the legendary Carolina ride.
Considering you never have made a 90' before, does this mean that the customer of that boat is essentially paying more for the development of the molds and processes needed to manufacture that big of a boat and thus anyine that subsequently gets a 90' in the future will habe a cheaper cost because the molds and processes are already complete? Price wise, did you price the boat at what a Viking or another sportfishing yacht would have charged because they already had the molds and processes done and it something they routinely make? I realize you can say that your finish and flare is better and all that, but realistically, is that customer paying for R&D that will benefit others down the line who get it cheaper?
Hello there, all our boats are truly custom, one-of-a-kind solutions built to each owner's wishes and specifications. There are no molds. Some owners in fact want to push the limits of what has come before and have been a driving force in taking big leaps in innovation and research. This in fact was the case with the owner of our first 90-footer, hull 62 (Jaruco) which we have a number of videos on, but here is the most complete overview: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5wx7HiZHlxQ.html. Other owners choose more modest customizations over boats that came before, but in general yes, everything we learn on each boat can be re-applied and helps shape each subsequent build. Every custom Jarrett Bay represents a step in the evolution of our boat-building technology and methods, in addition to each being a masterpiece in their own right.
I live in Florida, and right down the road is the CAT guys that have been testing Engines with our boat also... They suck !! They nlast about 6 months and they have to remove the Engine, or the heads. Cummings Engines are a little more Expensive, but they will last a lot longer
Bonjour veuillez svp faire une traduction en français. Vous avez une potentielle clientèle qui not speake. Inglish. Donc veuillez traduire en franch. Ok thank you very. Much.
For custom hulls in this size class, it's tough to beat a cold molded wood boat. They have a better strength-to-weight ratio, they're quieter, they ride better and they are more cost efficient to build.
@@lukepearson5149 you are allowed! You guys do an amazing job! I appreciate your workmanship! Sorry for correcting but I thought you would not be offended.
Good job RV. I think a video on the electrical side of these boats would be pretty cool. Love to see anything you guys are doing. Appreciate the videos
i'm truely amazed that pepole have 10s of millions of dollars to spend on fishing I love fishing myself but there's just soo much more to life and money doesn't go far I guess I'll never understand what it is to be wealthy and not give a fuck about dropping 10 M on a toy
I like this boat, but I drive boats by myself. Can I put a camera system a control system so I can maneuver and park the boat myself without a crew? That’s what I would need on something like this.
Great work RV. It was nice meeting you during Big Rock week when we took the tour of your shops. Thank you for continuing to share the beautiful work you guys are doing.
