@@cloud.3 Thank you! We don’t use any filter on our lens. We simply setup out lights so that there are no reflections. This can usually take 10-15 minutes of playing around to get it right 📸
I see most of your photography is of beauty products. Would you say its important to niche down to a specific genre of product photography? And if so, how does one go about deciding which is best ?

I’ve seen many people suggest just a plain white background for product photos posted on e-commerce sites. However I find it very difficult to get a good result with this set up. The white background is just so bright. Any suggestions? Thanks
This is the most basic advice. You're just another "creative" trying to make money off of selling dreams and courses. If you were really making 6-figures on product photography, why on earth would you flood and saturate the market by teaching other people how to enter an already highly competitive field? You and your partner have, like many other creatives, realized that there are more people trying to work in this field, than jobs available. This is the new hustle. Courses, courses, courses.
It’s not often we received negative comments, let alone one written from complete ignorance. Everything we teach comes from sheer passion. I was not born a photographer and it is not my first love. I graduated university with a marketing degree at the peak of Covid and so, I was forced to get creative with my income since no one was hiring. My creativity accidentally led me down this path and the positivity and inspiration that I found within this community was unmatched. Though photography has become my creative outlet, what drives me is business. Nothing makes me happier than diving into the psychology of business and marketing. At the end of the day, this is me chasing my passion, not playing with yours. -Brittany
Great video - thanks for taking the time to create and share this 👐 The example in the section about "Understand Client's Vision" is such a powerful and wonderful example of a transition in images. It would be very interesting to see your setup and light setup for the new images as well as maybe hear your thought proces on the switch for the first to the second images. Jus go old school and think for yourself? Too much reliance on AI now for laziness. Will only effect the non creatives who want to pretend to be creative and charge accordingly.
Thank you for expressing your point of view! I think it is important to maintain human elements in our work but unfortunately, we do not control the evolution of technology. I do think it is healthy to have an understanding of how to edit without AI however, successful businesses prioritize productivity. If you can optimize your workflow without compromising quality, why would you not? If editing without AI is a selling point for your business and you truly love the art of doing everything without the new tech, then by all means, it is your work. Hi I have a lab glass product and want to change its background, how do I explain the AI that you need to change the background through the product as well since its transparent.
@@tarunaggarwal266 I don’t think that’s something the program is capable of yet. If anything, you’ll have to change the background and then try changing the glass on the product. Definitely a tricky one!
People are really excited about the ability to add a product shot into multiple AI-generated backgrounds. Fact is though, you need your product professionally lit and shot against pure white as step 1, before taking it to AI for background addition. You also need a very accurate clipping path done with refined edge hardness by a pro, to remove the white background. Only THEN can you look at generated AI backgrounds. The use is much more limited than people think - and at least one pro product shot is needed first, plus it will only work against backgrounds of a similar lighting style (eg: the above 'on white' product example won't work when placed in a darker, moodier background environment). AI tools are great for socials, but the quality doesn't stand up in print or even large digital format for things like an LCD display in a retail setting. In time I'm sure it will though. 🙂
I create a background 1st in AI then once I like the look and style, I then enhanced the image in magnific, I then refrence the image and replicate the lighting style, angle and DOF. and then merge the files together in photoshop, then it's worth re enhacing that image merged again and brush through sections from the original to help the blend. Yes it's not as good as building a set or heading to a location as such and you are restricted and limited atm, but for smaller budget jobs such as kickstarters etc it works, also a very good or use to sell in storyboard for bigger budgets.
