Kashvi Ramani grew up in Northern Virginia and currently attends a boarding school in the Boston area. She is a budding actress, singer-songwriter and poet. Her YA novel, 'Kofi Chronicles' is available on Amazon.

Kashvi has won numerous awards for her memoirs, scripts, poetry, songs, and acting performances. In 2022 she was named a YoungArts Finalist in the Theater and Merit winner in Writing for Spoken Word Poetry. In 2017 she won Best Actress in the Liberty University Cinematic Arts Student Showcase Awards and a Silver Award for Best Actress the next year at the TIVA DC.

Kashvi is the 2023-24 Inaugural Virginia Youth Poet Laureate. In 2022, she was the Youth Poet Laureate of Arlington Virginia, and has been working as co-editor of a poetry anthology. She has been a member of the 2021-22 Virginia Young Poets in Community and the 2020-21 Split This Rock’s DC Slam Youth Poetry Team. Her poetry has been published in Rattle, Brown Girl Magazine, SEEMA, American Kahani, and AsAm News.
