Kamala Harris - Slam Poem | Spoken Word by Kashvi Ramani 

This is my first year participating in slam poetry, specifically with the @DCyouthSLAM team. I have been writing songs, poetry, scripts, and other forms of writing for much of my life.
I am elated to see Ms. Harris, who had a similar upbringing as mine, in such a prominent position. She is a role model for someone like me, a child of immigrants, who dreams of a multi-faceted career.
