I’m an Alabama RU-vid channel with the soul purpose of sharing my experiences. with the viewer. I am an amateur Filmier but my passion drives me to hunt public and private land). Bow hunting is my passion But when needed I’m not afraid to bust out the bolt gun. I’m a man of God and my beliefs are firm!
I love a good catfish and mustard sandwich or if I’m eating seafood, a mahi-mahi sandwich or just the meat. Top-tier. Fish but just standard bass is great too.
I’ve had elk a few times upon which I don’t know if it was bull or cow the 3 or 4 times I’ve had it it was seasoned out of this world. lol 😂. But the meat was flavorful. Other than who prepared them all I can’t wait to try it again maybe under a better cook I’ll tell you my favorite moose. I’ve had it quite a few times at big game and a few. Gathering. It has been great. Even Different ways people made it it was. Really good
@@throwdownlax I will say they stretch overtime about one size in my opinion i got those in 44 because I wanted to layer underneath them. But you can comfortably take those down into the mid 40F with mid level longjohns underneath. They are so comfortable. It’s ridiculous. One company I highly recommend if you’re going to get. Top layers is Firstlite they are big. So I would recommend them
@throwdownlax I would say go with the kuiu pants hands down. However, I’ve heard good things about the new 308 pants but I cannot vouch for them. I just have had a good track record with kuiu
@@TommyJob at the moment a bear legend XR 60 to 70lb. But I got it on 65lb draw weight with a HHA optimizer sight 0.19 single pin gas strings and ultraview ub button release. I got a couple videos out on them if you would be interested (: But it’s a pretty sweet set up I’ve been shooting bear bows for 17 years but I’m not. Opposed. To trying something new at some point
I shot it at the shop its draw Cycle is smooth and it’s fairly light so i would give it a try. I love the new grips the bears are running compared to the old ones
@@TommyJob well I certainly try to remain down to earth my God is certainly to think for what I have. And. I’m blessed to have it. Thanks for watching. Have a blessed day.
@@SouthernDrawTN it’s close for you my man (: back home in AL it opens October 10 so it’s getting to be that time of year it’s so exciting I can’t hide it lol
@@joecrespo5842 i appreciate it man (: 🤜🏻🤛🏻💪🏻. I couldn’t have done it without purchasing a thump button from ultraview. And getting Easton axis 5mm 300spine arrows with bohning 3inch x3 vanes highly recommend. I hate spending big money but this stuff was truly worth it
😊. I’ve been seeing some good ones hopefully lately. My camera dead and another one didn’t take pictures but it dead 2 months ago and I’ve set them all back up so hopefully they will have some good bucks on the home front I’ve seen some 130s to right at a 140 down the road no way he’ll make it through this season or come my way he’s about a mile away lol 😂
@@jonasoutdoors definitely worth it. If you’re gonna be sitting In tree stands I would just go to your hardware and get some extra screws to be safe, but maybe you won’t have that problem (:
It took me a long time to get this gear ! And it’s pretty nice except for the screws that fall out lol 😂. But it’s really stable while filming. And adjust really easy. It just takes time to save up for nice stuff when you don’t have sponsors and I can’t complain I mean from a business point. I can’t blame them right I’m not really that big of a channel yet. But when you do see people that are smaller channels, and there getting sponsorships. it does make you feel letdown sometimes lol 😂
@@jonasoutdoors I’ve been shooting a bow since I was a little bitty fella i’ve been shooting compound bows for 18 or 20 years now and it’s something you’re always learning at It’s kinda like the Bible you can read it but each and every time you learn something new it’s crazy. (: but awesome. You’ve got this man you’re gonna do great this year.
Thank you 😊 and welcome to the channel/ community I’ll try to earn your sub every week I post every shorts Friday 5pm shorts Saturday 5:30pm shorts and a video generally Sunday 6:00pm central standard time.
@@-lovefromnh well I definitely recommend them for the money. And I’m trying to convince my dad to pick these up. I appreciate you letting me know they’re on sale 😊
Looks pretty dang good, you are one of the only people I see that completely locks there left arm out when they shoot, I was taught that it was the correct way!! Good form brother!
@@RestlessOutdoors2183 I appreciate it, my brother. But I have a slight bend in my arm. I will say after a many of years in trial and error and people trying to tell me, I’m doing it all wrong lol 😂. All wrong. I finally settled on what’s comfortable for me. And that’s fully gripping this. Bow with the slightest bend in my elbow. While I’m right at the point between it letting off. And it being at the point of full draw. I’ve noticed tremendous improving in my groupings when I shoot that way. Which is similar to how I grew up shooting. Vs the ways people want me to shoot. And to be honest, I’ve gave everybody else’s way a fair trial. Some being weeks others years. But do what is comfortable for you. And let nobody tell you different as long as you can consistently repeat it. Everyone is different and needs to find their own unique style. (: Sorry for the book reply lol 😂
Some advice I got for 3d shooting was open your left hand and let it swing down after release. Grouping became much better. You do look solid though in your form. Practice practice practice. Consistency equals accuracy.
It’s been a game changer for me I used a wrist strap release for 18 ish or more years And I felt like most of the problems were in my wrist And my fingers stretching to pull the trigger . But once I made the switch after a few days. And practicing up close with it. It has definitely been worth all the money I was skeptical of paying the $300+. Because to be honest, I am a cheapskate, and I don’t have a lot of money. But it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made as bow hunter and archer, definitely recommend it
Hey man, just a friendly tip from one content creator to another - I think it would benefit you greatly if you put a 2nd camera right next to the target so folks can see the impact
Thanks brother (: I so can’t wait for it Once that comes i guess I’m gonna have to start working on some longer form videos for watch hours. Because In that department, I’m not doing the best in right now. lol
@Easternandoutward yeah no problem 👍 Also I'm sure you'll be good at long form content aswell. Sorry I haven't been that active lately, I just now got back with some new videos myself, I've been out of town for awhile now so I'm trying to catch back up. I'll go watch the videos I missed that you've posted. I hope you're doing good btw.
Thanks brother I try to the best I can when I make content but you know you always wish or hope you could make it better (: I’ve been doing decent enough. I hope everything’s been going good your way (: and I hope you enjoyed your vacation 🤘🏻 And when you get caught up let me now what type of videos you liked better
@@Easternandoutward Ah, no need to be so humble, man. You did that lol. I've always wanted to start making videos and content but I just don't know what I would do. 🤷🏼♂️
Well, just doing what the Lord would want me to ! And remember it’s better to be humble then to be the obnoxious prideful guy as a Christian I just can’t be that way. ( but I’ll give you this advice I started out not knowing what to do and feeling like I would probably go nowhere. But the lord has blessed me with over 900 subs so find something you’re passionate about. Find a schedule you can stay consistent. At and keep posting with no more then 3 hashtags that closely relate to the short video I don’t pretend to be an expert because in my field of hunting. I’ll probably never get over 250k unless I switch content types which I may get running another channel for that in the future
