Downhill Skateboarding (Longboard) in Nairobi, Kenya. AFRICA BABY! Find out more at downhill254.com I started skating as a means to get around but over time it evolved into something more. I found myself enjoy the feeling of going downhill and freeriding more and more. I created this page because I love making content and sharing it.
Hey so… this dead spot thing sounds a lot like a problem I had with the Dänger slaloms (which I didn’t know how to resolve, so I sold them) is this something we should look out for on other dual spherical slalom trucks?
Yes. Ive found the issue generally on most trucks I've tested it's just the Zm1s that really defined what it was for me. So I do recommend you look out for it generally speaking
Thanks man, you're an inspiration! Foot Stops are damn useful with more aggressive surfskating as well as our research has shown.. 😅 Greetings and all the best from Berlin!
If you have big feets, the regular Rhino. If you have small feet/prefer skinny boards the Race tail. If you can afford a custom then get it the width you need mayne
Hi, I am new to downhill, is your board 30 inches long? THanks alot, I sub>d, If I buy those wheels what truck length should I buy for this board? THANKS!! Awesome Films Sir.!!
Hey man, my board is 30inches long but it needs expensive $450 trucks. if you can manage it, no problem but I actually recommend a longer board with 23-25inch wheelbase, 9inch width, and $60 trucks like the Caliber 44* 158mm trucks
love it im riding a flexible board open wheel...im 46 had many years off ridding, just can't give it up...thank you much im going to set my goal on building an affordable deck....to learn have fun...... slide.....an NOT DIE....i need a sticker that says that
Thanks for the review buddy, always amazing work! We tested these wheels a lot before release it and it surely beat some of the best wheels out there on top speed, even if don't feel as fast. We aproach wheels a little different than most of the wheels on the market, making it confortabe as possible using design tech's. This brings a really unique ability for those wheels to absorb the pavement, which sometimes can be misunderstood with being "slower"compared to some wheels that feel stiffer. I want to see you riding the 80A and the new formula we are about to release, I will send you ahead, cheer and keep crushing these reviews, this is super helpfull. Att TGL
“Most racist wheels I’ve ever skated” got my dying😂 I’ve also skated the milkshakes and I had the same problem, super super slidey but didn’t thane at all honestly The peels have tog to be my favorite wheel ever tho
Glad to finally see a review on these, they seem pretty interesting. The lower roll speed really makes me think _maybe_ on a techy course they could be advantageous by limiting corner entry speed so you can hold a grip line through a drift turn for more exit speed. Also if you're considering getting more Mags, would be rad to see a comparison between that new "Red Leaves" formula and the OG Mach 1 formula.
Great review dude! I’m glad that you’re enjoying this again. Can you do a review on your go to setup? The one that you would go back to after riding new gear for your videos
I have no idea how you guys stay stable at 60mph on those short wheelbases with narrow trucks. Yall are pushing it to the max. Going 30mph on my paris v3 clone(38 inch deck) Eskate feels crazy as is. picturing twice as fast on a smaller board is crazy.
Cool title and awesome run. First time I noticed your back leg in tuck is passed the front leg calf-looks challenging, but more stable? Appears resting front hamstring on back front quad/thigh?
Im a little bit frustrated right now, i learned this slide so i could come to a stop when i go fast and it works.. i never really paid much attention to what i was doing but now that im a bit more serious on the thecnical downhill i needed it to pendulum but i always end up doing a 180.. i can do a fakie 180 standie but it sucks i wish i could pendulum any slide but I can't 😢
