2.0 TDI CAGC (120 PS), 517 000 km : ) Sometimes especially at traffic jam (randomly) engine is overheating (> 90) It could be water pump? Water pump has been changed about 70kkm ago
Make sure your cooling fan is cutting in - this is the only thing to cool your engine when stationary. If that’s ok flow check your radiator for blockages and make sure it’s outer fins are clear of dirt/leaves etc. How long ago was the pump replaced ? Time matters as well as distance
I just noticed you can swap inlet and outlet sensors on the r56 I did that and runs much better now. Can't see any obviously bad readings on the sensor, might be bad cable from vibrations, but will order a new sensor now.
Those are nice DMM's if yours ever fails to turn on it may need a pull down resistor by the transistor that latches it on. I had to do this repair on the same meter.
All worked a treat on both sides but now when I lock the car and then open the back doors wont open from the outside , open from the inside ok and then they work again from the outside ???any ideas on a fix
Hello mate... So just spent a fortune (to me) on an old P2 Volvo V70 2.4d and on start up there's a single bang/clunk on firing up the Engine... Some vibration on idle, but as soon as she's driving the gear changes are smooth and no issue... Could this be the DMF?? 😢😢
Hello, excellent video! I was scrolling the web for a few hours to find where the crank sensor on my golf was before I came across your video! How do I go about removing the oil cooler? Thank you!
Hi, it’s a fault within the dashboard. It may be repairable but I haven’t looked into it. Otherwise it’ll be a new dash unit which are pretty expensive. They also act as immobiliser control so have to be programmed in so you can’t just buy a secondhand one and one and fit that.
Just wanna say thanks, 2017 focus, 3 days ago nsr doorglass stopped moving, today door wouldnt unlock. Took it apart following this video and sure enough corrosion and a snapped pin. Added a through wire and problem solved!
Never not once in all my life have I encountered this smell nor has anyone I have come in contact with has either. This sounds like the prople that bleach their assholes would bleach their window washer reservoir 😂
Do you use washerfluid? Or just water? I have never had this problem, but l live in washerfluidcountry...use many litres each year, so it doesn't get old. Water will do this I guess😂
Buy one of the Norwegian washerfluid bottles! It's got so much alkohol that nothing can survive😂 (30-40% ethanol or isopropanol...) Germs will not make it!😂
Have a po302 doing all the troubleshooting. All swaps done didn't follow. Compression and leakdown all good. Gonna test crankshaft position sensor and camshaft position sensor
Thank you for this video. I'll check out these fuses. I don't have Ac working anymore ans also the engine is not spinning correctly , I assume this is coming from the flap motor thou. I'll check ans let you know. My car is a skoda octavia 2005 2.0l tdi
Referring to the front of the engine correctly unlike most that call it the side regardless of how it’s fitted. I’d bring my stuff any day of the week based on just that 😂
Mine went at 29000 miles, pretty poor from VW. Coolant light came on and then coolant started pissing out the bottom of the car under pressure until it was empty
If setting up a new abs module/pump. If the there is code relating with short circuit on rotation rate sensor. Will doing basic setting not be able to be done after new abs long coding?
I don’t think basic seating will be possible, the data needed from the abs system is an important part of basic setting as driving under certain conditions is needed
Great video to understand that noise we hear. I thought it was a rod knock at first. Once you get under the car its really easy to hear where its coming from. Mine goes away after warmed up. Probably a loaded question but any idea of how long these things last after they start rattling?
It’s a matter of what you’re prepared to put up with. Feedback gets progressively worse until the car becomes eventually undriveable either from vibration and/or poor gear selection. (Quick answer) I’ve seen some last for 12 months However they can become so bad the flywheel has to be cut apart to remove it as the top plate moves (jams) and covers the flywheel bolt heads. Short answer - just replace the thing asap
April 1, 2024 and no this is not the April fool's joke/ will this oil pressure issue cause the motor to die and not hold an Idle??? the flashing red light ( intermittent ) is not indicating at the time that the motor dies @ a stop light. this is on my VW Beetle TURBO S , Manual 6 speed ... so out of gear / clutch in and sitting @ a stop light...... Thanks from HOUSTON
And here I was thinking that I had the wrong kit. At the time the belt had to go and the tensioner felt fine, so I left it in. Here I am 100k later and about to change the belt again only this time I will have a closer look at the tensioner and will change it as it will be 200k on it. The kit I purchased for my 2ltr Amarok was GatesKP25649XS-1 and the number on the tensioner in the kit was 306B19.
have that same problem. But my stops working after 5min. Negative cable of for 10sek and reconnect and it works 5min. im loosing my mind whit this problem. I have changed allmost everything.
