Hello, excellent video! I was scrolling the web for a few hours to find where the crank sensor on my golf was before I came across your video! How do I go about removing the oil cooler? Thank you!
Great video mate, recently got into golfs myself Got a question though, I’ve got an issue with my crank sensor and it seems the bolt that screws it in has been sheered, making unscrewing abit of a nightmare due to the amount of space we have under there, further advice I’ve found is that I may have to go through taking out the gearbox to reach it. Do you have any advice or tips? Thanks
Are you sure it’s damaged? From memory it’s a 5mm Allen key head and can be very tricky to get on, best with a ball end key. But if it has been rounded out then yeah, gearbox out, I’ve had to do that myself before .
@@bradauto yeah I’m pretty sure it’s damaged, trying to unscrew it was a nightmare and the clearance is really limited yeah Okay thank you for replying, I appreciate the advice mate
Hello again, slight update I was told the bolt was sheered but I’ve taken a proper look myself and it looks like the bolt is rounded off. Does that change anything?
@@mukhtarzamarad5730 you know it’s a Allen bolt right? So the outside is round - unless you mean the inside is rounded in which case yeah - gearbox out
