Internal storage isn’t a big deal, Especially going from 2gb to 8gb isn’t anything to care about, even a 64gb sd card is only $14.99 So really it’s just the camera sensor and improved battery life that’s a big deal but unless they physically change the battery design it would also work with the mini 3 and 3 pro as well as 4 pro And so when that mini 5 pro launches it will just a even better time to buy the older models for cheaper

This guy's predictions are only 60 % true while Nikon never meets and misses its target. Another hoax. Look at Z6 and Z7 iii are the fixes they missed when they were released.

Do you have sources for any of this? It seems a bit out of place for Canon to make the R9 better than the R8 and comparable to the R6, so I don't think these specs are likely. At minimum if they release an R9 it's not gonna have IBIS. Hard to say for the rest but it seems more than a bit hopeful...
*20.4 MP sensor ? Absolutely no thank you. I'll pass. The OG Z9 shoots UHD 8K all day and records raw in camera. I'm more interested in the hybrid video advantages of a Global Shutter, but not if it won't do 8K resolutions.*
The Nikon Z7 III is delayed because it may introduce a version of the new flagship sensor (likely 60 MP) that will also be used on the Z8 II and Z9 II, but fully stacked. They will also update the EVF like in the Z6 III. So, I won't be surprised if they launch Z8 II in 2025, and Z7 III by the end of this year.
a great idea, and hopefully Nikon will start producing MF and LF lens designs again (like they used to), as if Red goes into the bigger formats (mf and LF, in video more like 35/65/70mm) then Nikon will most likely make the lenses; similar to the Schneider K and Phase One partnership.
with a Nikon collaboration it Won't be RED raw!, most likely NEF raw, as that has more accessibility in third party software, possibly other formats capable of mp4 and MOV conversion, as a cheap way into software, and to keep the whole kit in budget price range, as any complex workflow post capture will make it harder to sell a camera to enthusiast and videographer markets, which is what i would assume Reds market was (having SONY and ARRI taking the high value end).

FX9ii is “Dead On Arrival(DOA)” because of C400. 100% not going to be release in summer 2024, Canon made 😡 Sony back to the drawing board because of triple base ISO.
I don't see how triple base ISO should be a deal breaker. FX9 is pretty good as it is. It really only needs faster processor to enable higher frame rates, picture cache and maybe pushing the high base iso little bit higher.
The only game that would ever be changed is if Sony believes they could ever announce a camera at $7500, for one body that wasn't a pro video camera, considering the prices of their competion, irregardless of features. And I say this as a Sony shooter with 5 bodies. There is a price point where the consumer, especially in the US, will say no!!! A1 sales have dropped off a CLIFF, especially since the A9III.
I still shoot with the original Z5 even though I own the Z8 and many other cameras. I do not need the video features of the Z6III, so I hope the Z5 II gets all of the Z6III photography features and the option of a good battery grip.
