Camping, diving, fishing, hunting, overlanding, reviews, DIY projects and everything in between!
My name is Del and along with my son, occasionally my wife and daughter and my outdoorsy friends, we are weekend warriors who love to camp, fish, scuba dive, hike, play in the snow and hunt.
We are the Kings of the Weekend.

Yeah, we only got our fishing charter confirmed the day before because the minimum number for a trip is 3 and it was only me and my son booked! And it was the Monday before Easter!
Great video Del, I was nearly about to hit the button on the Zoleo but after seeing this I'll most likely do the Bivy stick. I've already got the ACR ResQLink 400 PLB and have a lot of faith in the ACR gear. Thanks again!
Thanks for watching! Just make sure to check the subscription figures before you pull the trigger as the charges may have changed since I made the video.
to be 100% honest, I have never emptied the jerry can completely via the pump so not sure. I think that the flow rate on the pump is 4 litres per minute on full flow
I'm in the process of building one myself. Does the water jug need an extra vent hole to prevent negative pressure in the container, or does it work without a vent hole? THX!
My jerry can already has a breather included. I also noted that the air can still enter through the gap between the cap and the hose, so you may not require a vent hole. Thanks for watching!
Really fun camera to mess around with and the colour results are amazing in good light. I love experimenting with it - wish I could mount it to my drone 😉
Good detailed review. I think they're almost the same as all the major 360 cameras in the market. Same with GoPro- the lens stick out one scratch, and your 360 is messed up, and it's also 1080 for regular videos. The App AI effects are top-notch!
Been thinking about getting one of these. Would be curious to see how it goes as a normal vlogging style camera. Most images I have seen seem a little distorted.
It depends how you reframe in the software. You can choose flat all the way up to fish-eye or even tiny planet style video. You can also film single lens 4K if you prefer for example on a chest mount. I love it but still have plenty to learn!
I have Installed this system in my Pajaro and it works great. However, if I have the override switched to off, which is what is recommended, then my console fridge does not stay on if the car is not on. I had thought that the fridge would stay on and charge off the auxiliary battery. But this is not what happens. What have I got wrong?
This is a fridge issue, not the VSR. While the car is running, your battery will be charging so the voltage will sit above 14V. When you turn the engine off, the voltage in the aux battery will drop down to a 'normal' level around 12V. Your fridge probably has a safety cut-off which is turning itself off at what it thinks is a low voltage. This is to prevent the fridge from completely draining the battery. There should be a way to reduce this point where the fridges turns itself off. If you can lower this cut-off voltage level, your fridge should stay on. Good luck and thanks for watching!
If you buy a bivy from Amazon, how do you set up the monthly plan? Can you communicate to another bivy stick say for instance if there is an internet black out. Many thanks for the video.
Once you set up an account on your new Bivy device and link it to the app on your phone, you can purchase the plan via the Bivy App on your phone. I guess you could technically communicate with another Bivy if you have the mobile number that is attached to that Bivy device as messages just work like text messages. You select the number via your phone contacts.
Nice vid, get a power bank on it and run it from just after sunset to just after sunrise and you'll get a 20-30 second video depending on your exposure settings.
Great opening! You’re using the 360 framing very well you gave me an idea that hopefully I can remember next time we camp. That’s a beautiful spot! Great catch!
Nice video Del. Must be nice to get away by yourself sometimes. Good to just sit and enjoy the surroundings. Cracking spot. The river would be good to swim in at summer time.
camping by the river is one of our favorite. Nice campsite, bummer about the toilet paper. Never seen that morrocan lamb dehydrated meal before but that sounds good. All good times even if you got soaked. Have a great week
The really steep track was Rhonda (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-C02lflTK1oY.html). It's now marked as extreme on Newtracs! Main track of Jamieson Road is Taylors Creek Track and the joining track is Wombat Track. Good luck!
