Nice, I like the velcro, I think that's a neat and simple solution for it bouncing around. I don't know how cold it gets there, but I'm trying to think of a way to insulate mine in below-freezing weather
We don't get much below-freezing weather down here in Victoria (Australia) and the places that do freeze are usually closed to drivers/campers in the winter because they are in the ski fields. You might have to put the whole thing in a fridge to stop it freezing! 😂
I'm in the process of building one myself. Does the water jug need an extra vent hole to prevent negative pressure in the container, or does it work without a vent hole? THX!
My jerry can already has a breather included. I also noted that the air can still enter through the gap between the cap and the hose, so you may not require a vent hole. Thanks for watching!
Just ordered the shower set to do the same thing. Can’t wait. Only thing I am concerned about is the ease of filling the Jerry can again. When you unscrew the tap, won’t that mess with the pump inside?
Thanks for watching. I unscrew the cap and remove the whole thing before filling. If you have a jerry with a breather like mine, you could technically fill it from that end as the breather unscrews too. Good luck!
